  1. Hello everyone, I recently replaced my motherboard (ASUS Rampage II extreme) with a MSI X58 Pro-E. The only audio related stuff that is detected in the device manager is nvidia (monitor) and logitech (dongle). I can't get neither the onboard sound nor the old Rampage II extreme soundcard to work. The only ways I can get sound right now is through a logitech g 430 usb dongle or the monitor. How do I get the onboard sound or the Asus sound card to work, is Windows 10 possibly an issue?
  2. I tried to boot with a different PSU, same result nothing happened. I replaced the Moterboard (Asus Rampage II Extreme) with a MSI x58 Pro-E and it´s booting agian.
  3. Try that: 1. Go to computer management -> Services and Applications -> Services -> click on Windows update -> click stop the service 2. Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution delete the content in that folder Turn windows update back on (reverse step one) That helped me a couple of times whe the updates just stop installing or downloading, it is worth a try.
  4. Hello everyone, my pc doesn't post anymore (specs in profile). A few days ago when i tried to boot the pc the fans started spinning but the usual beep that usually can be heard right before a picture is displayed on the monitor didn't happen. After a few more tries the pc didn't post at all. The PSU should be fine, the paperclip test was succesfull. Is my motherboard and or cpu dead? How can I check that? Thanks in advance
  5. GTX 670 Why upgrade? Because those 2GB of VRAM do not perform on a 1440p monitor.
  6. Hello everyone, so yesterday there was a poweroutage while my pc was running. 1) When I tried to boot it up afterwards for the first time the fans started spinning and the lights inside the pc turned on but noting more, no picute displayed not even the moterboard beep I usually get before a picture is displayed. I couldn't turn of the pc by pressing the power butten for approximately 10 seconds. 2) I turned the power of and on again. When I tried to boot it after that the fans started spinning but only for 1 or 2 seconds. No motherboard beep, no picture. I wanted to clear the cmos the next day by removing the battery on the mobo for a few minutes, just for fun I try to boot it up again. After 8 hours of rest the oc boots again with this error massage: Don't worry about the CPU error message that usually turns up (I think my cpu fan is plugged into another fan header) Did my pc clear cmos on his own? Do you know what the problem could have been?
  7. Why would you rather want the 558s now? I don't think there is a big difference between the two anyway. Here is a comparison between the two. Where did you buy the HD 598s? On amazon an adapter is mentionened and on the sennheiser website the adapter is mentioned in the spec sheet.
  8. Kova, I need a mouse for my Laptop.
  9. Yes, it works now. The loose/damaged sata cabel works with the right angle, it is connected to the CDROM. And yes the system actually doesn't have the option to boot from usb.
  10. I still don't know why booting from the usb drive didn't work, but after opening the case i saw that the sata cabel is loose/damaged.
  11. I didn't find anything like that. I know that it can also read DVDs.
  12. Hi everyone, I upgraded to windows 10 quite a while ago and have some issues now. I want to reinstall windows 7 (have it on a DVD and on a USB drive). I completelly disabled my ssd as a boot device and the pc boots up like always. I want to boot from the CDROM or the usb drive. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
