saw some jackass have a cart full of clorox wipes heading to self checkout with a big smirk on his face when it was supposed to be 1 per person. What is wrong with people dawg. They stopped him but still what the fuck

honestly, if it's for utter personal use ( assuming not hoarding for resales) & they are paying for it with their own money & not stealing it,  i think an individual should be able to buy a certain "excess" in a given limit.

especially if stores have stocks they shouldn't limit an item to their own self made rule(which ironically is them hoarding a product because of their fear). usually they do have stocks back at the storage, it's just a matter in delay of restocking the shelves. i know it's a weird unpopular opinion , but there's an angle to it when things get dirty like this.

@Tech_Dreamer Stores usually restrict the number you can purchase based on their stocks and the demand for the item. They don't have unlimited stock in the back contrary to popular beliefs.
It's normal to want as many people to be able to "enjoy" the use of a product, instead of just a limited few selfish people who hoard it all, maybe even for resell(main reason they do this).

Especially for things like Clorox wipes, purell and other disinfecting products in the current time we are in. These products are important for everybody and no one who is respecting the social distancing and quarantine orders even needs for more 1 box of clorox wipes for the next 2+ weeks.
