  1. Don't know about the price, but I think the Roccat Ryos MK Pro should come with RGB lights and available in MX Blues? Edit; My bad, seems like the product eventually only had blue backlight at release.
  2. Correct. I think the minimum is 6GB, or at least that's what it was in Ghosts. There are some fixes for it though, Googling should do the trick
  3. Don't think so, as of now there are no games that use more than 8GB at all and that is only a recent climb from 4GB since the new consoles with 8GB system RAM were released. It is also since then that high-end GPUs have moved from 2GB VRAM to 4GB (or 3.5 ) in a matter of two generations. I don't think the RAM usage by games will climb much more as long as the current consoles stick around. Let's face it; a lot of games are developed for those and then ported to the PC, cause the consoles need to be optimized more as honestly they were behind on decent gaming PCs from day one.
  4. Isn't that just a laptop motherboard with a CPU and 2 SODIMM RAM modules in it?
  5. Woops, something went wrong here. Please ignore this one.
  6. They are types of memory cards that you can use with the device Aperture to copy files to and from your PC
  7. Really depends... Do you want a black or a white case? Also, are you going to use all the rad space in the Primo, making it worth the extra 40 quid? If you're aircooling or going with a modest loop I'd definitely say Luxe. What about the Enthoo Pro in white, or do you want the lighting feature?
  8. Generally 750 Ti cards should be really quiet yes, because they have very low power draw and therefore little heat output. EVGA somehow really messed up with the minimum fanspeed though. Not sure if that counts for the specific card you've chosen but I can tell you I'm not making the same mistake again. That said, you might be able to find an R9 270x for the same price which is quite a fair bit faster (nearly 760 speed), but it does output a little more heat. Shouldn't be a problem though.
  9. It's an EVGA GTX 760 SC with EVGA cooler. Custom painted by myself as the original is simply black (or well, dark grey). This is mine. Be weary of EVGA cards though, many of them refuse to let the fans spin below 40% even in idle (even though the card idles at 28 C) which is loud. Too loud for me if I'm honest. Some seem to be fixed with vbios updates, but this means you have to flash your card and thereby lose your warranty. Personally, if I had the choice again, I'd go with MSI or Asus, preferably the Strix if you can afford it.
  10. The Bitfenix cables are extensions. Meaning that you will have to add them onto the existing PSU cables and you'll be left with a LOT of cable in a tiny case. You can do what I did and grab an RM650 (although you could get away with a 550 easily) and buy the Corsair cable kit. It is a bit expensive though, and honestly I don't think you should be spending that kind of money on a budget build. Bitfenix also do some of their own PSUs which come with pre-braided cables. Granted they are black, but they are semi-modular and the cables look really nice. Fan colouring is not that difficult. Do you have a reference style cooler? This is my Phenom (same internals as the Prodigy) build: Personally, I wouldn't get blue lighting. It'll just wash everything out and make it all look blue, rather than a carefully picked out black & blue colour scheme. Which colour case are you getting anyway? Black, blue or maybe white? Either way, I'd say get white LEDs and then a nice black and blue colour scheme. The reason we see colours is because of the reflection of light. When the white LED light reflects on your blue components, it will enhance their colour, while blue LEDs would just make it look... well, everything blue.
  11. This. Or possibly the Phanteks TC14PE if you want nice colour scheme options.
  12. Don't get an FX series CPU under the 6300. I'd say switch to FM2+ and get the Athlon 860k. Still a quad core, but much better cores than on the FX series.
  13. I'd say: Zalman Z1/ Z9 Plus/ Z12 Plus Bitfenix Comrade/ Neos Cooler Master K280 Fractal Core 2300 Raijintek Genesis Would all be better options with less dated designs. Personally, I think either the Fractal or Raijintek are the most attractive ones, but the latter has a pricetag of $50 at NCIX and is hard to beat at that price. http://www.ncix.com/detail/raijintek-genesis-series-agos-atx-a0-100854-1360.htm
