  1. I'm helping a friend build a system and I haven't really been in the loop of new hardware since I built my PC 2.5 years ago so I need some help parting it out. Looking to spend about 500-700 USD. The system will be used for mostly minecraft and skyrim at 1080, maybe some light photo editing. I have a friend with a rx 580 for $70 so take $100 off both reference builds. Thanks for any help in advance. $540 ryzen: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (12nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor $104.99 @ Amazon Motherboard MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $74.99 @ Walmart Memory ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D60G 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory $74.99 @ Walmart Storage Western Digital Blue 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $63.99 @ Amazon Video Card XFX Radeon RX 580 8 GB GTS XXX ED Video Card $169.99 @ Best Buy Case Thermaltake S100 Snow Edition MicroATX Mini Tower Case $73.98 @ Newegg Power Supply EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply $81.87 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $644.80 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-06-25 11:50 EDT-0400 $610 intel: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i3-10100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor $142.50 @ B&H Motherboard ASRock B460M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard $93.98 @ Newegg Memory Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $87.99 @ Amazon Storage Western Digital Blue 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $63.99 @ Amazon Video Card XFX Radeon RX 580 8 GB GTS XXX ED Video Card $169.99 @ Best Buy Case Silverstone PS15 MicroATX Mid Tower Case $73.66 @ Amazon Power Supply EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply $81.87 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $713.98 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-06-25 11:51 EDT-0400
  2. I'll be honest, I didn't comprehend any of that
  3. I'm down to one stick and am currently at 47% done reseting my pc, wish me luck. I also have an rmi lined up if need be. Thanks for all your help. I was able to restart my pc all the way with only one stick what does that mean?
  4. I cant get on my computer long enough to download any drivers at this point. I've been trying to completely reset it but it crashes half way through that aswell
  5. So i bought a 2x8 gb kit of Trident Z rgb model number F4-3200C16D-16GTZR. This kit is support by my Asus 450 f-gaming motherboard but I read somewhere that only the GTZRX works with Ryzen. Im getting a lot of crashing with error codes that have something to do with either drivers or memory management. Any help on what to do next would be great as I'm currently sitting here with a 1500 dollar paper weight

  8. I just finished building my pc, got windows booted up, and began to install my drivers. Right as I allowed the nvidia driver to make changes to my computer crashed due to "IRQL" error. Now it has been doing this non stop and has also had different error codes such as Memory Managment. All 16gb of ram are showing up in my bios so I don't know what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Alright so after 7 hours ive finally gotten my pc built but now every time I login to windows it either gives me IRQL less than or equal to error or memory managment. This started happening right after I tried to install the nvidia drivers if that helps. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.
  10. Last question what is the difference between the 2700 and the 2700x as it's only $14 more?
  11. 1)650w is only $5 cheaper so why not. 2) I plan to do a decent bit of video editing so I'm leaning towards it. 3) 1700 is $20 more than a 2600 rn, I'm unaware of the core performance difference
  12. Quick question does anyone know what happened to the Phanteks Luxe in WHITE. I've wanted one ever since I started planning a build and I cant find it on any major sites for a reasonable price. Thanks for any help in advance.
  13. I didn't know about that g3 thing but thats good to know thanks, This is the updated list 2 more questions. 1) Where did you see that 2tb ssd? 2) What do you think about going to a 2700 for $90 more?
