  1. So I'm planing on buying one are there any quirks to it being a xeon and all that I should be aware of? Edit- bought it for $190
  2. I'm planing on sklake also no such thing as an i6 and yes I went with the fx8350 because I got my mobo and cpu for around $150 usd new and it was great value for the money if I had to pay more I would not have but it was cheep And worked fine for me for a while
  3. OK so I have up to $400-$450 max I would like to keep it around $350 though and I am looking to upgrade from my fx8350 I play a large variety of games gta, league, csgo, minecraft, etc... What would be a good cpu and mobo in the $350 range?
  4. So I have an fx8350 and a 970 I'm thinking about upgrading to a i5 6500 or a 6600k would that make sense? I play games like csgo, lots of modded minecraft with shades and texture packs, borderlands 2, and others
  5. He was just saying u can get stuff cheaper off Craig's list
  6. Yep my 8350 and Msi 970 gaming mobo only cost me $213 new
  7. Yep they aren't cheap I might just pick up a used fx 6300 off r/hardwareswap for $65
  8. I'm planing do using a am3 cpu as they are compatible and cheaper
  9. I'm also looking at this http://www.frys.com/product/8610560
  10. So a friend of mine recently have me a and am3+ mobo and aim looking to build a server to host games such as csgo, minecraft, gmod and some others what would be a good cheap cpu for it I'm looking to spend 100 - 150 usd for the whole system i would only be hosting it for a few friends 3-8 so I'm not worried about ddos or dos atacks as it would be private
  11. ok might just sell the old and buy 2 of the fury because they are lower profile and look decent
