  1. I would highly recommend solidworks. It is very easy to use and has application that will allow you to 3D print parts if needed.
  2. Hi, I am looking to create a small server for my business. I have a fair amount of experience in system building, but very little in server design. Does anyone have suggestions for a build? Also do I need a ups? Thanks
  3. Ok I will try that. I'll update the thread tonight.
  4. If you are willing to spend a little more on the ssd, I would highly recommend a Samsung 850 evo. I have one in my computer and it works great.
  5. Hi, I just bought a new ssd and am trying to make it my boot drive. I will be doing a fresh install of Windows on it. I have downloaded Windows 10 for a flash drive and installed it on the usb. I then boot the computer off the flash drive and the Windows install is unsuccessful. The error code it gives is: 0xc0000185. I think the problem is caused by having too many drives installed. Should I unplug all the drives except my new ssd and retry? Any help is appreciated.

  11. Thanks to everyone for the replies. I would like to make this router wireless, as there are several phones/tablets on the network. Does anyone have specific parts they would recommend? Do I need multiple network cards for both wireless and wired capabilities? Thanks -Mark
  12. Hi All, I am planning a new PFSense project. I am looking to build a new router for my small business. I have no parts on hand, but am willing to spend around the same price as I would for a new router (approx. $200). What parts would you reccomend? Should I go to the junkyard and pick up an old computer? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks -Mark
