started having the same issue a couple of days ago with csgo. high frame rate but lots of stuttering, and im running on a r7 1700, gtx 1080, and 16gb of RAM.
dude, you need to give info.
what is the case your using?
what is the charging pad you want to use?
how do you want it to look?(seamless integration, not visible?)
AOC is not known for very high end products. but they do deliver alot of features for a reasonable price.
the second best with similar specs is this one:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ttnG3C/acer-monitor-xb271hubmiprz
the acer xb271
but it also costs 740$
if you are willing to give up IPS then the other options are:

and:

g sync
1440p
165hz
27inch
ips
starting at 600$
apparently does have some backlighting issues
depends on how satisfied with your 1080 you are.
if you are fine with your 1080 for now and in no real hurry to upgrade then I recommend you wait out for Tesla chipsets in 2018. it saves you the hassle of having to also sell the 1080ti, which by then will depreciate in value quite a bit.
i wouldnt know, i have never had any experience with the cooler designs from gainward,
but if that is the type of cooler design you want go for it, they seem to have quite good reviews on amazon.de
https://www.amazon.de/Gigabyte-GeForce-GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD-Grafikkarte-schwarz/dp/B01J66BMXC/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1510151891&sr=1-7&keywords=gtx1080
have this card myself. the cooler is quite good.
it honestly depends on what the rendering software is optimized for, but gpu optimized software can easily be 5 times as fast as cpu optimized software when using similarly priced high-end xeons and high-end nvidia cards.
