  1. I want this because it makes me feel bad that it has more power than my full tower ;----;
  2. I recommend http://www.irfanview.com/ this is one of the best photo viewers around since forever.
  3. Game cracks do not usually contain viruses. In 15 years of pirating, Ive caught maybe... 4 viruses? (Oh and BTW, I dont use an antivirus. I use my common sense, verfied sites and communities). However. alot of antiviruses see cracks as a virus because well... they kind of are. They modify how files work, sometimes change registiries, run under applications so on and so on...
  4. That is the biggest bull Ive heard in a long time. Most enterprise servers work on ESXI or similar things, and that is a VM (ableit a different type of VM) Also since when not designed for == not good for? Botching things is basically what is fun and amazing about computers imo. Thank you, this is excatly what I needed <3
  5. Red Hat is very good when it comes to this but not free. Fedora is the free version of Red Hat. openSUSE is also very very good. Avoid Ubuntu, Canonical has decided to start spying on its users: http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/ubuntu-spyware.en.html
  6. I had a yoga (im not sure about the model but it was the best thinkpad one) and I hated every moment of it. I gave it to my girlfriend after about 2 months trying to use it. About laptops in schools: I think Lenovo is a very good choice of company (they are very standardised, work, you can pick parts for what you need), but they are a bit expensive. Fapple would be good because everyone would be guarnateed to have the same software and mointoring would be easy. But I hate fapple so f fapple. My personal opinion is linux based weak dells, but hey, Im a linux fangirl
  7. I have 22 because my work gets alot of broken pcs and we are allowed to salvage them But I do think 16 gig is the standard right now. I have yet to see any proof that expensive "gaming" ram is better than normal green sticks for anything but aesthetics. (Except for overclocking but who overclocks ram?)
  8. Im thinking right now of a different solution that I might do a forum tutorial on if I get it working. But I will definately look into this on the weekend, thank you <3
  9. TotalCommander for the win. Make sure to run is as admin.
  10. I use VirtualBox at home but we use VMWare Workstation at work (you can find keys for it online very easily although Im not sure if we are allowed to mention such things) VirtualBox: -Free -Small -Fast Workstation -Costs -Big -Works alot better with drivers and hardware and such in my experience
  11. It does (its an i5 4960K) And yeah, im not doing this because I want an easy way out (then i would just stick with windows) but because I love making things work the way I want them.
  12. I have a gaming system (well it was a gaming system 2 years ago ) and I really hate windows and what they are doing with privacy and such, so I am ditiching windows on all my systems. But I am very unhappy with the games available on linux and so for now my gaming system is still running windows 10. Does anyone have first hand (not theoretical its virtualisation therefore it sucks) experience gaming either on Wine or on a Virtual Machine. Im going to do some benchmarking soon, I just wanted to know peoples opinions first.
