  1. Hey man if it works lol. Before I seriously upgraded my pc my old cpu fan was tied to my heatsink with string because I broke the standard mounting hardware and was too poor to buy a new one lmao.
  2. I wouldn't go as far as to say that its an impossibility but I'm fairly certain any solution that would allow you to do that would probably end up being overly complicated and expensive.
  3. Hey thanks for the reply I had my notifications shut off so I didn't see this till now, but after a fair amount of troubleshooting and trying different things to see if I could get it to boot I figured out that the problem was one of the dimm slots on my motherboard died and it took one of my ram sticks with it. The computer is currently functioning albeit with half the ram from before and I intend to rma the motherboard and replace the dead ram.
  4. Hey all so earlier today I was on my desktop and it completely and totally froze up and so I performed a hard reboot and when I attempted to start it again rather than powering on like normal, all the lights would go on and the fans would spin up for a second then stop, and it does that in a loop until it is either unplugged or the power supply is shut off. Things that I've already tried -Reseating all power supply cables -Reseating the ram -Removing the gpu -Clearing the Cmos System specs -Intel core i5 8600k at stock speeds -MSI z370 gaming plus motherboard -2x8gb Crucial ballistix sport ddr4 -MSI gaming x rx480 4gb -EVGA 500b 80+ bronze psu Any help would be greatly appreciated as I just spent nearly $600 upgrading this system.

  6. Nope it just acts as if I yanked the cord out of my pc and when i unplug it and plug it back in nothing will happen.
  7. Hey all, So I have an Audio Technica ATR-2500 USB microphone and for some unknown reason its driver crashes all the time at random intervals and the only way to fix it is to reboot my pc. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this problem is f*cking annoying as all hell.
  8. According to Laptopmag the Origin has slightly better delta-e and color gamut than the Acer. I do think that the review is for the last gen Origin though.
  9. You'd probably be lucky to get high 60s at stock speeds in a laptop form factor. Have you looked at the Lenovo thinkpad P70? It's a Mobile workstation and you can get it with Xeons and Quattro graphics.
  10. The Acer was my first thought but I don't think it has an option for a desktop i7.
  11. You can get it color calibrated factory but its a 120hz g-sync panel no matter what so the color accuracy isn't gonna be perfect. Its about the best you can do for laptop performance though.
  12. It's worth a shot, but something tells me that the lag has more to do with the 15 devices and less to do with the usb adapter.
