  1. Hello, im looking to build a new computer here after AMD releases the new 4000 desktop CPUs. So in the mean time im going through all the rest of the parts. Im looking for a 512-1tb NVME M.2 SSD, and im budgeting about 150-250$ USD. I came here because I had a hard time finding good solid information online. So what SSD should I buy, faster the better!
  2. So I'm looking into buying a laptop within the next few months, and in doing some research I've been quite overwhelmed by all of the options. Many websites such as MSI, or ASUS offer many choices but do not do not do a good job at showing the differences. I'm coming here as its the biggest community I know to ask your help in finding a laptop for me too buy. Here are the things I am looking for a laptop. - 15-17in Screen - 1060 or higher - decently lasting battery, (I don't plan on doing too much gaming on battery, I at least want to get through a school day doing simple things like word processing) - 16gig Ram (8gig if there is room to upgrade) - 256gig SSD (Or room to expand) - 1080p (non-touch) - I7 cpu - Good lasting quality, I want to be able to use it for a few years. My price range is around 1500-1800 USD Any suggestions would help me out greatly! Thanks!!! Edit: And I have looked at the Gaming Laptop Guide, but most of the links there no longer work.
  3. Around 300$ budget to start and as in tv I meant watching tv though the computer.
  4. Im looking into getting some good speakers and need a place to start. A lot of what i'm looking at needs an amplifier of some sort to use the speakers. im new to audio so i'm not sure what to be looking for. but what im looking for is clean, loud audio, and surround sound for when im watching movies and tv. I also want it to be able to hook up to my pc.
  5. So Ive recently been looking into getting tunnelbear and was wondering if anyone here has used the service. If so how was it, what is your honest opinion of it and any dislikes. Please I want to know it will help my decision on whether to buy or not.
  6. Alright ill have a look into the pricing on the seagates.
  7. I heard that these were unreliable has this changed?
  8. Im trying not to spend over 100$ you know of a drive thats 2tb and 7200?
  9. So my current games hard drive is almost full and im in the market for another drive to add. I had my eye on the 2Tb wd blue drive, but its only 5400rpm. Will this be a bottleneck for playing and loading games?
  10. I have a gtx 750 ti and tomorrow I will be getting a gtx 1060, now do I need to uninstall nvidia drivers or just leave them alone?
  11. So i'm looking to upgrade my home networking and that starts with replacing the stock isp provided router/modem. I don't know a lot on the subject and would just like a clear answer for what to buy. The things i'm really looking for is for wifi speed and a bit of range because of the plaster walls in my house.
  12. Shouldnt need a IPS, I dont have a IPS panel and I could see it while drawing the circles
  13. So ive had this Tv for quite awhile and Ive recently started to notice these star patterns more and more on the display with scenes with lighter colors. Im just wonder what this is, ive circled the spots in the picture and ive found it best to sit back a bit when you look at the image.
