That very well might be the case for the 3.5inch one as I connected it internally. The 2.5inch one I connected via a USB port, thats what I find strange

I recently opened up an external hard drive (a 3.5inch WD 3TB) to connect it internally with SATA. After installing it in my PC, it showed as an Unallocated drive, It seemed like there was an issue with the drive so I used a recovery software to recover all my data to another drive (Internal 3.5inch). After that I tried to format the 3Tb drive but the operation would fail. I wanted to backup the recovered data to another external drive to I connected a Seatage 2.5inch drive and copied all the recovered data. The operation seemed successful but after a while when I tried to access the drive even this one shows as "Unallocated". How can two completely unrelated HDDs have the same issue? Is this a Windows problem or should I check for a Virus? (I ran the windows defender scan and everything seems to be fine) Update: I connected the 3TB HDD to a Macbook and formatted to ExFat and it works just fine but when I connected it back into my PC it showed as Unallocated. So it initialized it and tried to create a new simple disk but got this error "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"

I am running a GTX 1050ti and I'm looking to upgrade to a RTX 2070. I am NOT planning on gaming on it and it'll only be used to train neural networks (Deep Learning). The MSI Armour is available for around 48k INR and the founder's edition is around 52k INR, the FE is overclocked and both have twin coolers. I don't have the budget for tripple cooler cards. Which on do I go for? Thanks

I'm running an Intel i7 4790 with 16 gigs of RAM and a GTX 1050ti. I do not game on this machine and wont be starting anytime soon. I started using my GPU for CUDA programming and deep learning and it just isn't enough. I am on a low budget and I found some refurbished cards on EVGA B-Stock. The 780 is available for $130 which is pretty cheap and might be able to afford it, as its a faster card, is it a good choice in 2019 for that price? I will be running my 1050ti as well.

Thanks , I'll look into it!

I am running a chromebook with linux so I need a laptop now , as in by end of the month. I have a powerful PC so I just need a laptop to code at school and maybe run Matlab. I can do all the heavy lifting on my PC so I was considering the Surface book. Battery life should be atleast 6 hours and it needn't be light as the LG Gram but neither should it be heavy

25 inch Ultrawide VS 2 x 22 inch monitors for productivity setup
TurkarYash replied to TurkarYash's topic in Displays
I will be running 2-3 IDEs at once along with 2-3 Terminals I have to Run atleast 3 of them simultaneously (I use windows snap feature as of now) the budget is $240 (equivalent) ....NOTE that the 29 inch ultrawide is not available The PPI and Color accuracy is not a concern but i atleast hope to have 1080p resolution -

TurkarYash replied to TurkarYash's topic in Displays
The Problem is that the 29 inch is not readily available where i live and the one that is , is imported so its ridiculously expensive
