  1. Hello everyone! A few days ago my java game crashed my computer, since then it has behaved oddly. Whenever I try to turn it on it works until I try to display anything graphical. It won't crash if I watch a video. After the first crash I could still play games once I got it to boot properly which took a few hard resets. I played for maybe an hour or so and then it crashed again. This time It was harder to make it boot properly and I got an error msg that said "VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE" and that "atikmpag.sys" had failed. I researched it and tried to rename the file so windows would create a new fresh one, but the file didn't exist. When It boots after a crash I see a thick green vertical line, but this only happens after a crash. If I turn it on after a while again the green line is gone. I uninstalled my gpu drivers and tried again with both old and new drivers. The green line is visible in bios aswell. Recently I also got a BSOD with an error msg that said "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED". I have disabled my GPU which doesn't get rid of the green line but I can play games without it crashing. I have also used IGD instead of PGU and with IGD my PC behaves normally. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance and have a great day! 2. Hello everyone! I have this problem that usually happens when I turn off my PC, but it has occurred at other times aswell. It doesn't always happen and it seems to happen randomly more often sometimes. After I turn off my PC it turns back on again after say 5 sec (and yes I'm 100% sure that I click the shutdown button and not the restart one). I'm using the Wake On LAN feature which I think might have something to do with it (I use google assistant and then IFTTT to send a pushbullet note after I say "PC on" which then triggers an app called automate that sends a WOL-package to my PC). I also thought I saw a correlation with me starting my laptop and the PC turning on, but it does happen when the laptop is dead aswell. I have changed one or two settings in BIOS in order to use WOL and I'm not sure if that might have something to do with it. All help appreciated, thank you in advance and have a great day! 3. This turned out to be the problem, my GPU reached over 90°C. I took of the side panel and it jumped down to about 70°C which means that my airflow sucks as the temps should increase. Need to do some adjustments on that, but I've had the GPU for 3 years now, would you recommend a thermal pad replacement?
  4. Haven't done any overclocking or anything like it really. I might just try DDU actually.
  5. Hello everyone! I'm always playing battlefield 1 when this occurs, but I haven't done much else on my computer recently. I experience sudden game crashes, sometimes after a few short freezes, and the signal to my display is (usually) lost. When the signal remains I see very odd artifacts and windows menus stop working correctly (see video showing this behavior) even after I completely kill battlefield 1. I have played battlefield 1 a lot before on this system without this happening. It seems to be more frequent as of recently. Seems to fix itself after a simple reboot, but it reoccurs. 6. Thank you very much August Garcia! I will look into this.
  7. Hmm, yes that would work, but I should probably explain what I want a bit further. So when I set an alarm on my phone I have an app that returns a variable with the timestamp of that alarm. I want to automatically send that variable to my pi so that it knows when to start the motor that will roll up my blinds about 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. Would that work with the method you talked about?
  8. I don't know if this is the right place to post, but anyways. I'm trying to start a script on my raspberry pi, that will then start a stepper motor, via my phone. If anyone has a solution, please share and have a nice day!
  9. The problem is that I'm experience FPS drops all the way from 75 FPS down to 8 FPS even in the menu. I changed all the settings to potato, now even my laptop can run this and I'm running a MSI R9 390, I5-4690k, 8GB RAM and 2560*1080 resolution. Please help and have a nice day!
  10. Even in the settings menu btw.
  11. Okay so I started up fraps, turned all settings down to potato. And I can even run this on my laptop. Huuuge fps drops not mouse lag sorry bout that. Any fixes?

  13. Hey guys! So I just downloaded Ksp on Steam and when I started playing I experienced extreme mouse lag. It only happens when I play Ksp and I have no clue why. I'm using a Logitech g502 proteus spectrum and my pc should without problems run KSP on maximum settings. I dont know if it has to do with Steam or with KSP or maybe something else. Please help and have a nice day!
  14. Well okay guys. I'm currently on the conclusion that BF 1 is kinda shitty with I5's ATM. If anyone have a fix, trick or something that helps I would appreciate it very much. Have a good day folks!
