So, I posted a while back and, unfortunately, nobody was able to help me with my little driver problem (looks like the registry is corrupted. I tried for days alot of different solutions I found, but nothing worked). That being said, I decided to wipe my HD and reinstall windows. How do you think I can do this? I thought about formatting the hd in another machine, but I don't have any other pc to use, only if I go to a store or something, but I didn't like the sound of that. Also, I have an old hard drive here I could use, if that helps.

I don't care about graphics that much when the game is about 1-2 hours

Is there support for 700-600 series? Or are they doing this Maxwell only?

Someone please, help...now my screen is black and white and at 640x480...I don't want to format my pc, so if anyone has a solution, please share. If it helps, when I didn't have a driver installed before, it said "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" on MSI Afterburner. Now, nothing is shown there.

If by that you mean trying to install the driver I was using without problems before, tried that already, but now no driver works, it seems

I uninstalled 344.60, downloaded 344.65, and it fails after it loads for just a bit on those ads. Now not even the previous driver installs correctly, same thing happens. Suggestions? I uninstalled with DDU

Probably 1.5 hours on Fistful of Frags. I've got nothing to play these days, nothing has much of my interest and the games I want to play aren't out yet. I don't know, maybe I just burnt myself with games in the past few years while I should have focused on other stuff, and now I'm kinda bored somehow :unsure: Anyone feels like this?

Once you finish Alien Isolation, there's almost nothing/nothing to do, so you get more for the money with the other games (but it's awesome). Star Citizen is probably not launching until , I'd guess, Q1-2 2016. You can have fun with it for now, but don't expect to see much content, what is promised until launch envolves things never seen yet. Civ is strategy, if you like that kind of game, it's probably worth hundreds or even thousands of hours.

If you have a figure that is 4m wide and 5m tall, you've got yourself 20m of area. if you double that 5 meters to 10 meters, that's 40m. And when you double that four AND the 5, it's 8x10, which is 80, which is FOUR TIMES the original area. 4x5=20 8x10=80 You double one side and it's double the area (the pixel number, in this case). You double both, and it's FOUR TIMES the original area. This is the "basicest" of basic math, sir.

Zelda Twilight Princess. I was about 7-8 years old when I first played a Wii in a store and I was fascinated at the "motion" controls. Now we laugh at it, but I thought the graphics were amazing. It was playing Twilight Princess at the very beggining, when you play with Epona to control those goats, and when I looked at the horse for the first time, for some reason it felt very realistic to me as a child. 2-3 years later I completed the game for the first time, then again, and again, and again....I have about 350+ hours in that game in total (it was possible to see your game hours in the Nintendo Channel, a video service that was discontinued and can't be acessed anymore), it was my only game to play, and the one I loved the most. Oh, so many memories!

Kinda hard to believe. Those are the same guys who supported modding in Skyrim and Oblivion, both receiving fresh mods every day. They even have that toolkit or whatever. This is sad actually, very sad.

Agreed. Everyone has both things in mind: 1-making better looking games by implementing new technologies and techniques, and/or increasing texture resolution, etc... 2-increasing resolutin But something we cannot do is both at the same time. The jump to 4k was kinda too high. 720p to 1080p doubled the resolution, while 4k is four times higher. If a 780 Ti/980 can not run, I don't know, Star Citizen when it comes out at 1080p, imagine in 4k. I prefer to see games getting better in the future instead of just jumping resolutions so early. I'd stick with 4k for 10 more years if I could. It's just good enough for desktop gaming. But as the Rift will need higher refresh rates etc, I'm not sure if it will be possible to have an 8k Rift model... EDIT: forgot to say something
