  1. Hey guys, I'm currently considering upgrading my gpu, a GTX 760 2GB VRAM, and I was hoping for you guys to give me some suggestions based on my specs below, as I would like to run titles such as Forza Horizon 3 on a decent setting at 1080p min. (I've been looking at the GTX 1050Ti). CPU: Intel i3-6100 @ 3.7GHZ - LGA 1151 GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 2GB Motherboard: MSI H110M - LGA 1151 RAM: Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR4 @ 2666 MHz Storage: 2 SSDs and 2 HDDs (total 1.25 TB) PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze (Non-Modular) Case: NZXT S340 Mid-Tower Any Questions? Please Ask Away!
  2. Thankyou Moress! I completely forgot i overclocked my GPU ram speed about a month ago, will give it a try by removing my OC now! I will get back to you with my other info if this doesn't work Cheers MP
  3. Hey Guys, i was wondering if you could help me with a problem I'm having with my PC. At random times when using my pc, whether its playing games, on the desktop or on the lock screen, my pc will just go black and the audio on my headset will cutout(sometimes), as there is other times when i can still hear my discord chat. I have tried reinstalling drivers, changing cables etc. and my monitor is not the problem as my PS4 still works fine when my pc does this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers MP
  4. Oh this is good I was helping my grandma with her new TV and Phone set-up when she moved house, and she told me there was a bag in the garage to get rid of. So i was expecting her old tv stand or something but no. Oh no. A FULL BIN BAG(TRASH CAN BAG) of CUT UP PHONE WIRE, because she thought the people who find the bag might get information from COPPER CABLES xD.
  5. Well, are you interested in playing other games in the future? Because if you only want to play the "MLG Games" then I wouldn't spend so much money on a PC build, just save it or buy something you need more. -MP
  6. I've created this discussion to ask the community on everyone's general thoughts on whether the moment we are in now is the best for doing modifications to our current PC builds, or to build awesome new ones from scratch. Considering it has been a few months since the release of the GTX 10' series and RX 480, most 3rd party cards are beginning to fall in price as stocks rise. Also, with skylake processors now maturing to a large enough market where they fit almost anyone fairly avid gamers price range, they are almost a no brainer. Furthermore, the pricing of DDR4 memory has significantly fallen in the past year, now to the same as DDR3 was a year ago. So, the question is, is this the best time ever to get the best performance per dollar on your PC build? -MP
  7. If you are looking to "future-proof" your PC build for at least the next 2-3 years, definitely go with the GTX 1060. New RAM, Better power efficiency etc. while still being around or sometimes cheaper than the 980, at least this is the terms in the UK. Also, just being generally more recently made means that they should last longer over time. If you were planning on an SLI setup, you will be better off also in the long terms by investing all your money you spend on multiple 980s into either a 1070 or 1080, depending on funds available of course, as they are equal if not better in most categories. Hope this helps -MP
