  1. Updated the drivers, but the only available ones were USB, LAN, and Audio, i doubt thatd cause issue
  2. Ill try this, although ive reinstalled windows already and it didn't fix it.
  3. Ive got 8 gigs. While using chrome and youtube while steam and discord is in the background i use about 3 gigs
  4. I asked this a while ago, then ignored it cause it seemed to of fixed it self, but its still there. Sometimes while doing any task the PC locks up to where i cant move the mouse or do anything, sometimes its gradual, like the task bar disappears, cant use windows key, programs stop responding etc. then i cant do anything, or its just straight to the point a freeze. Twice ive gotten a blue screen with "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION" But usually i dont get that just a freeze. Ive already tested my RAM by switching out DIMMS and the issue still occurred, my only idea is the CPU or SSD windows is installed to. Any guesses? CPU is at stock clocks with plenty of cooling too
  5. ive been fiddling around in CMD and i see that its disabled, ill give it a look
  6. It doesnt allow for online play through the MS store, and forza isnt on steam, without it he cannot connect online.
  7. Long story short, my friend cant play forza with me due to his pc not having this driver. Where can i get it? Heres what his network adapters list looks like... VS. mine As you can see I have Teredo and he doesnt. All the tutorials online assume its on your PC so you just reinstall it, but he doesnt even have it in the first place. Ive also tried the legacy drivers thing, it doesnt show up on the list at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  8. I was having some issues with an overclock I had a few days ago causing poor performance in games. I returned the CPU to stock clocks and voltages, the issues were resolved meaning my overclock became unstable over time. Since then I've had no issues till now. My PC began freezing, it gets completely locked up and I have to force shut it down. In the short time I have till it inevitably locks up, I checked core temp, and the windows performance monitor. Everything checked out, no CPU maxing out or overheating. A long with normal ram use and disk use. I'm completely confused on what's happening, I'm on the latest drivers for my gpu so i don't think that's the issue. If anyone can point me in the right direction that'd be great.
  9. Im in the market for a new monitor, and refresh rate is my main concern, CS:GO is my goto game and im wanting more. What are some nice monitors in that price range?
  10. Its only detected in device manager under disks, so it isn't dead. How do I go about getting it recognized so I can use it.
  11. Vid for reference: https://youtu.be/AKYdcJGAvhA What's does this error code mean? Also, I only ever experienced this on my living room T.V. I get the MSI logo, then the little flashing underscore, then when it goes to boot I get a black screen and it does that beeping.
  12. Ive had this 660ti for a little over 4 years and im ready to upgrade, what do you guys suggest I buy? Budget is around $250.
