    Have you tried using a bootable version of windows and select "repair" from the menu? Edit** Wasn't specific.. by boot-able i mean your USB/Disk copy of windows, go into bios and select that as the boot priority, will let you into the windows installation, also after some research on the error code

    Nope it shouldnt be a problem, as long as you were doing the x pattern you'll be fine, now... dont take an impact gun to secure it but hand tight with slight force is normal.

    I only suffered from random stiffness when i was a young teenager... But I'm not too sure aside from using it a lot to keep it soft.

    With those, I don't believe so. I don't even hear the pump on mine and its at 100% all the time, don't know why you would want to slow it down.
