  1. Overclocking ram isn't a really good idea due to the cons outweighing the pros. If you OC your ram, it can sometimes cause glitches and corrupt data. I'd suggest you just leave it alone
  2. Try using stickers, because plasti-dip will require a long time to dry off, water on a motherboard is never a good idea (incase you didn't know lol). I like to see someone getting into the creative spirit like you. Overall, stickers is probably the best solution because when you send it in, you can use adhesive remover to take them of clean.
  3. I'd suggest getting him a new motherboard and memory and cpu, we are getting into the age of DDR4 and that stuff is very outdated. An upgrade to that won't be cheap though. But to answer your question; if the motherboard says it's compatible with DDR2 at 8gb or higher, then yes, it will work.
  4. The 960 is a brilliant gpu, not sure about the 960m or how it would perform in a laptop.
  5. I'd suggest resisting getting onto the 4k hype train. but I see in your case you want a television, which is perfect for 4k experiences. an adapter can't magically convert hdmi 1.4 to hdmi 2.0, but it can convert displayport to hdmi 2.0 if that's what you mean.
  6. I'm not afraid of sacrificing $5 for g-sync.
  7. Hello ltt community, I'm going to be building a computer for my cousin for christmas (although he'll pay for it...) and he wants to aim for 500 - 700 Australian Dollars. He wants something that he can take places because he often stays with his dad who lives in a different house to his mum. I've so far cut the price down to about 500-600 AUD (prices change weekly) and I'm looking at buying a gtx 780ti 750ti because of it's overclockability, size, and price:performance. But I dont know if it's the best way to go. If anyone has reccomendations for good value graphics cards for about $150 AUD, please drop a comment. Thanks.
  8. Looks good to me, but you could save a few dollars while getting a better bang for your buck by getting a gtx 960 instead of a 980ti
  9. I love the keyboard. The simplistic look coupled with cherry mx brown switches makes a perfect keyboard for a techie like me who engages in tweaking, software dev, video editing, and gaming. It has the functionality of a normal keyboard without the confusing and often inconvenient "ergonomic" alternatives. It also uses my favourite key switches that are silent and responsive, a perfect blend. I'd love to have the honour of being in possession of the Autore Keyboard.
  10. Question: can I show you multiple videos and have you pick the best one to submit? I don't know whether to do a flashy vlog, an animation, or a song.
