  1. Hi everyone! Yesterday afternoon, I was working on my gaming PC, got distracted, and left it for a few hours. Came back - the PC was off. Turned it on, and it was in a boot loop only showing the ASUS mobo logo. Wouldn't boot in to windows, which is on my ADATA SU800 128GB SSD. So, I checked the BIOS - it's sensing all the drives, but it still goes into a boot loop when I try booting directly into the SSD instead of Windows Boot Manager, except this time it shows the Windows logo. I made a recovery USB, and after a painfully long wait, it couldn't diagnose the problem. Next, I've brought my SSD down to my old PC in the basement, and while powered down and cord out, swapped one of the HDDs for my SSD. Booted into the BIOS, and attempted to boot into the SSD. Wouldn't do it but I did get a blue screen error code "Unmountable Boot Volume". I've tried some online solutions using the command prompt booting from Windows Installation Media, but can't seem to have any fixes. Ideas? Thanks!
  2. Bumping this hahaha. @CPotterany updates? Ended up fatally dropping my lanyard (and $300 car key fob) down the sewer a few weeks ago. Looking for a new LTT one.
  3. I think I can play both racquetball and squash on my own, yes?
  4. Hey guys, I'm just looking into adding a sport to my gym membership and they have squash and racquetball courts at my gym. Problem is: I'm alone most of the time. I just need a sport to sort of practice on my own just for fitness. I think it'd be fun. So what would you guys recommend for a fella who's doing it on his own? Squash or Racquetball?
  5. Hey guys, A friend and I are planning on starting to film some of the stuff we do outdoors, for various reasons (possibly collaborating on a fun youtube channel), and I really need some advice on getting started. For filming, would I go with a DSLR? Or is that more for pictures? What would be something good to film with that costs around or less than $500? I'd be shooting outside, in various light, and possibly in different weather conditions. It's fishing, hunting, ice fishing, stuff like that which I'm going to be filming. Any ideas? Thanks!
  6. I like it, aesthetically it looks great. I think maybe you could've gone for at least a gtx1060, especially for streaming purposes, but yeah I think you'd be fine - and again, it looks good.
  7. Hey guys, I was just thinking about LMG's network of channels and I came up with an idea that's probably been thought through already. Has anyone at LMG thought about making a dedicated 'how-to' channel. I'd think it'd be something like how to build a server, but also understand thoroughly how a server works and all of it's parts go together, so that if anyone wanted to build a dedicated home server - it's almost like they'd have an instruction manual right in front of them.. (This is just an example..) What do you guys think? I get that TechQuickie covers a lot of how to understand things, and LTT does do build guides, etc. but this would mix the "classroom-like" component of TQ with a physical component. Good idea? Stupid? (It's probably been brought up a thousand times before..)
  8. That's so awesome, really looking forward to it. Thanks Colton!!
  9. That's awesome, I've been wondering about it for a while. I'd love to buy one with the old design, as well as I'd look at ones with newer designs. With regards to the TBD date, I'm assuming you're thinking in the next few months?
  10. Yo guys, Does anyone ( @nicklmg help me out here) know if LMG is going to ever be selling any more of the LTT lanyards? I have one from when it was initially on sale, but it's starting to get a little worn and I really would like another so not to lose or break this one. Any plans to bring it back or another place I can get one? Thanks!!
  11. Dude, it sucks every year. Every. Single. Year. Now. It's because they're too scared of losing advertisers.
  12. They could be bottlenecking you.... None of us like to think about that, but they do that sometimes.
  13. As said above, your components are great... you need a good upload speed on your internet though!
  14. Great! Good to know. I'm telling you from my experience today, they still use LogMeIn Rescue. I thought it was crazy considering they have their own tool built in... But alas, what can we do. Thanks everybody.
  15. I know that LogMeIn is safe, years and years ago I used to run Minecraft servers on LogMeIn Hamachi......the good old days But I'm just not sure about ProduKey and how legitimate it is. He ended up giving up, telling me I had to buy another copy. I talked to a guy on the phone after that who spent quite a few minutes using CMD to get me a license. But I know how he did it. It was legitimately through Microsoft. Just don't know if I trust ProduKey.
