  1. I've been thinking of adding my GPU to my loop but I'm not sure where to start off at. I've been thinking of getting the XG7 or the Phanteks Waterblock but I'm not sure what I need after that in terms of fittings and tubing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. The H360x3 is an expandable AIO, similar to the EK Phoenix lineup. Currently it's only on my CPU as I already had a G12 on my 1080 before I got it.
  3. Been thinking of getting an Air 540 but I'm a bit concerned on whether it would be able to mount a 280mm AIO for a Kraken G12 on top alongside my Swiftech H360X3. I'm not sure whether the tubes for the AIO would fit due to the pump/reservoir of the H360X3.
  4. Been having full system locks ever since the fall creator update last year and I could never find the time to diagnose it till now. I've narrowed it down to these 3 things highlighted in bluescreenviewer (https://imgur.com/a/RXl3Qxo) and they seem to be related to corrupted DirectX Files and an Nvidia Driver that most likely W10 installed without my permission. How would I go about repairing DirectX and getting rid of the Windows Nvidia Driver?
  5. I'm thinking of setting up a watercooling loop soon with 2 EKWB kits, the EKWB X360 and X240 and I was wondering whether I could fit both of them in the case while managing to still fit a PSU shroud like this (https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-780T-Cover-V1-Tech/dp/B06XRJNGJD) If that doesn't work, would a shorter shroud still allocate enough space for both rads and the rest of the loop?
  6. Yeah I'm a bit annoyed on the ram pricing currently and I'll probably end up having to use my dual channel kit of DDR4 from my Z170 build because the Ram prices are just absurd. I just hope I won't run into too many issues with running dual channel on X99.
  7. Lol. Thanks for the answer again! I'll probably be using my 6600k to make a PC for my cousin who desperately needs to get off of his integrated graphics on his laptop.
  8. GA-X99 SLI an okay board? I'm kinda skeptical on Newegg and Amazon reviews because usually people only review products when they have issues so it may not be representative of most user's experience with the board may be. I also am aware that I most likely will have to Q-Flash in order to get the 6850k to work on the board.
  9. Thankfully I don't really use things like USB 3.1 that the newer boards may have. The X99 board I'm planning to get is the GA-X99 SLI which is pretty decent from what I've seen and has everything I need except maybe not being able to fully saturate a M.2 Drive in the future but I don't really mind. Thanks for the response! I've been trying to find some validation on this but it's been difficult to get responses or information from Google.
  10. So I can get an Open Box X99 Board for $40 bucks and I've found a used 6850k for $200, which is cheaper than anything I can get for Ryzen or Coffee Lake. I'm currently rocking a 6600k at 4.6 GHZ but I'm starting to stretch my legs a bit and I'm getting into video rendering so the extra cores would be nice. I wouldn't get that much better game performance but I'd be getting better frame times and slightly better average FPS as well. So in 2017, is the 6850k still worth it if I can get it for this cheap?
  11. Oh my bad, didn't realize you were in the EU.
  12. Ok, let's stop this catfight here. How about a EVGA 650 BQ? I believe it's from the same manufacture as the GQ lineup (FSP, don't quote me on that) and it's around 65 bucks.
  13. Just want to try it out and see if it could beat my trusty G700s.
  14. The highest graphical game I have is Skyrim. I have some light mods to push the 390 a bit more and I fixed an issue where it was not at 60+% GPU usage because it was on balanced and not high performance. The 390 is at 100% and can dip down to 70 or even 30 so is this normal since this is a slightly older game? My PSU isn't the best and I'm planning to upgrade it. (It's a EVGA 600w 80+ no metal rating).
  15. I've been looking for a new mousepad and it seem's like Feenix has one similar to a Qck which I'm quite intrested in.
