  1. Hi, I'm currently trying to put together a list of used parts for a rig based on the LGA1150 chipset that can come in at $300 dollars or less, any help is appreciated, I have a motherboard already that is ATX form factor, which is nice, but that also means I can't do any mATX or mITX cases. A very loose list of things I'm looking for: 4790K GTX 780 8 GB of RAM, 1600 MHz or better 1 TB HDD Really any functional case Bronze 80+ or better 450-500 W power supply

    Fan Power

Just use fan splitters, man. http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Technology-Sleeved-Splitter-CPF02/dp/B00HJOJS9O
  3. With my OCD, it's impossible for all my parts to not have the same color scheme.
  4. Feeling pretty dumb right now, found out that by 'address' they happened to mean email address.
  5. I'm not asking about a GPU in this case, and by a address I mean the address of your home or business that they ask before initiating a live chat. I'm asking about a Nvidia Shield warranty.
  6. I need to contact Nvidia about a defective product covered under their 1 year warranty, but I keep getting an address invalid message, and I've tried nearly every every format I think of. Does anyone know what address format they want? Never mind feeling pretty dumb, by 'address' they mean email address.
  7. Get a closed loop liquid cooler for your CPU, no sense in spending $80 on an air cooler.
  8. If you have Ethernet wall socket in your room, plug your laptop into that. Can't say that there is much more of a solution than this.
  9. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70238715/ You don't need armrests and probably don't lean back while you're gaming, so popular gaming chairs are a waste of money. A typical 5 leg swivel chair is usually the best option for a gaming chair in my opinion. This model here is like an luxery swivel chair, since you were looking to spend big.
  10. Cover up everything that doesn't need to get painted, then use pastidip to paint over the red parts with a neon green.
  11. So I bought a Z97 motherboard back in the early summer months because it was on sale for a build that was supposed to be completed a month ago, but I hit hard times. I'll probably have this build done by November now, is it worth it go buy the new Z170 motherboard and get a a 6th generation processor to future proof my rig?
  12. Talk it over with your circle of friends, not on a tech forum full of strangers. We aren't here to listen to you blabber about how Lisa said she didn't like you today and try to get us to give you attention and comfort you. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I'm just telling you how it is around here.
  13. This pretty much sums up my experience with trying to help my parents get malware off their computer.
  14. Peripheral wise, I usually go with Logitech G stuff. Their stuff holds up for years, and are the best bang for your buck in my opinion.
