  1. i understand that as i quoted above, ("So i have a RM750 1st gen power supply that is known to have power instability issues"). i think i should get a higher watt block that also claims to ensure power stability. i had weird crashes when i tried to push the GPUs powertarget % to the max (past 100%) which shouldn't harm it from the date i bought the stupid block. it just became more frequent after i replaced my 4790k with a ryzen 5 1600k. at the time i bought this power block, i only had 1 nvidia gforce gtx 980s evga
  2. the reason i ask is that i am unable to boost my GPU at all and if i let my PC run at stock i get some random bluescreens, even 2 days after a fresh reinstall. this is why i'm thinking on getting an 1000 or 1200 power block to avoid any further issues.
  3. So i have a RM750 1st gen power supply that is known to have power instability issues, i also have 2 nvidia gforce gtx 980s evga in HB sli My CPU is AMD Ryzen 5. i has 2 HDDs in, i used to have 5 in. (no SSDs) in my upgrade plan, i have decided to underclock my CPU to avoid freezes and crashes due to power instability and limits multiple calculators claim that i will need a v1000 power supply for general use and v1200 for overclocking. is it bad for me to run the CPU past half it's clock?

Note that i keep all of my installation CD's on top of the power supply. i drilled a fan at the power supply to ensure there is airflow up there. ryzen 5 1600x Processor 4.00Ghz Motherboard/ AX370-GAMING K7 RAM/ VENGEANCE, 8X1 gig, DDR4 2100hz GPU/ 2 Gforce GTX 980, EVGA, SC, 4GB GDDR5 in SLI, HB Bridge Case/ XCLIO IBUYPOWER Storage/ four random disc hardrives Disc Drive One burning compact disc with lightscribe Display/ samsung 2253BW and asus swift PG278QR, and a DellE207WFP. 5. thanks a bunch. although i am still thinking on sticking with the X chip for a higher base clock even though i could overclock.

I know this motherboard supports my Nvidea SLI setup and CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz
  7. i have 5 HDDs installed on my computer. After watching this video, I wondered if i distribute the paging file across all my HDDs with the exception of the main C drive, if i can get better performance. Although Linus does recommend for a small pagefile to be placed on the main drive for system dumps for crashes. But I has none since i usually kill the blue-screen before it can actually dump.
  8. so i bought tunnelbear a few months ago. it's great for high bandwidth users, but not for 4mb and below and high ping (satellite) users.

So i had to say goodbye.

  9. It's sad to see Internet Neutrality go. but if it's going to go, the internet should be provided fairly for every paycheck and not sold as access to sites. (I am against net neutrality going away) How internet should be payed for: people who want fast unrestricted fast internet should pay a decent amount of money for it. People who are living paycheck to paycheck should be able to buy unrestricted .5mb up .5 down internet for cheap made cheaper with optional data caps. Everyone latency should be as best as possible for calls, games, and video conferences. for satellite services, there should be data caps. The speed of the services and optional data caps should be the price modifying value. Some bad things to note + rants: The internet isn't TV. YouTube isn't TV. YouTube is homemade videos (and music) that some companies did upload to. People must have their "Freedom of speech" and be able to converse about day to day events including matter that may not seem important to others. If the internet is sold as packets, 1. it would kill small businesses. 2. applications that is hosted on personal PCs ranging from the average personal 3 person minecraft server, to VPNS, To popular home hosted web sites might get exploitable or majorly throttled. 3. VPNS like tunnelbear or home hosted ones may get banned for possible service exploits 4. People won't be able to peacefully rant about what is going on. basically silencing everyone. So the only way this would be perfect is that people can pay for cheap $5 per month for low bandwidth internet, $80 per month for High bandwidth internet, and 40$ for decent bandwidth internet. The thing i don't want to see is this. ---> Random related meme:
  10. odd. Only the 3 borderland games crash randomly after 10 minutes randomly for me, and i don't know why. It could be some sort of code error. try updating c++ https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads Try modifying the GPU's (or APU's) rendering settings (not the games settings) try checking Nvidia, AMD, or Intel for the latest GPU/APU updates. Check your MOTHERBOARD providers site for Board and chipset updates. for an example, here's the official updates for my motherboard. https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z97-GD65-GAMING.html The games might be crashing due to errors created by an outdated chipset. RISKY: If all else fails, you might need an motherboard BIOS Firmware update. you might have a version that is from launch date with bugs that might be crashing your games.
  11. This comment of mine was misleading. didn't see you meant on pc and not on console.
  12. I'm surprised ppl are not asking to disable turbo boost. (multi core enhancement) is basically turbo boost for AMD. that's how i feel about this.
