  1. Support sections sometimes use a different account, perhaps as a security measure. Try creating one from there and see if it works.
  2. Very nice. Especially for a $5 mouse. Thanks for the thorough information.
  3. I can't find any information on its DPI range though. 800 or 6000 with nothing in between? I'd expect at least a couple of usable presets like 1600 and 2400.
  4. Daz3d is very legit. It's just kind of cheap quality stuff mostly centered around posing 3d models. I think their Bryce software was supposed to be fairly usable if I recall. But you're not going to get viruses or spam from them. They've been free for years and still advertise like they're giving away software that costs.
  5. See if Fry's has the game promotion and also contact ASUS support and see if they can provide one for you.
  6. Also available on amazon and newegg, but not on any stores without CA taxes. It's cheaper for us to buy an RTX + better PSU on b&h photo video full price than to take this deal.
  7. There was a 15% sitewide coupon for newegg to bring this under $200. That's about the best we can expect for this kind of model/performance I think, but crucial and intel will probably have some alright upcoming deals.
  8. Can a 1080 ti RTX ON? No? Then not interested.
  9. They'll just lock certain features and make it limited until your payments are shown to be valid again. It sounds like you're also past the time frame for refunding, one of the downsides of waiting to play games from sales. Older games and early access ones are iffy at best and there's no guarantee beyond the refund window period that it will work.
  10. As someone with a gtx 1050 that suits my needs I honestly don't see the point. I can run it on a dual monitor setup perfectly.
  11. It's okay though. You get free healthcare. That makes the higher prices, taxes, customs, etc. on everything else worthwhile.
  12. Laptop 1050's come with 4gb. They are not Ti's. What do you play OP and are those the only 4 options? I'd grab an i5 coffeelake with a 1050 ti over those if it's an option. Same performance as the 7700hq.
  13. Herein lies your problem. You didn't test it. You (or we) don't even know if it's stolen. The pawn broker didn't even verify that it's in working condition (or he bought it for $20). How you could pay $200 for it is beyond me. You should have just gotten her a chromebook or cheap laptop from an authorized reseller.
  14. For that build the 1050 or amd 560 are probably the best you can go with. But you'll need a new pc anyway so the card is just a start until you can afford the rest. An 8gb RAM Ryzen 1200 machine would be something to look into. The processor is as (usually more) important as the graphics card and is probably already a problem for you.
  15. Pretty sure you can't do it in afterburner on cards below the pascal/10 series. In the BIOS is another matter though unless it's a laptop.
  16. EVGA's ebay store has the 1080 for $450 + the destiny game pack. But I think ebay links are prohibited even for official stores so I won't post it. Just sayin' that for $30 it makes this a not so great deal.
  17. Learn engineering, electronics, computer science, hardware programming, and DIY modding. Then you'll know how to do it.
  18. Because it's hardware, not software. You can't scratch your monitor or spill water on it and take a screenshot of it and expect Windows to not just post a clean, perfect image. Your monitor is bad. Contact the store and get a replacement if you bought it within 30 days. Otherwise contact the manufacturer if you bought it within 1 year. If it's older than that then you will need to buy a new one.
  19. Yep. Also those are fairly common with Acer anyway. Mine died a death like that without any kind of physical damage to it.
  20. Chrome does that to NVIDIA cards too. If you have an intel cpu then you can run integrated graphics for web browsing.
  21. Are you on a laptop? And what are you using to make these changes?
  22. For starters you'd probably want to share what motherboard you have. But it sounds like your best bet is picking up a USB hub for your peripherals so you can keep your wiring up front. Hubs work great for peripherals, not so great for external drives so you'd want to keep your PC ports open for those.
  23. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway. Also their support is only "official support". It doesn't mean it won't work on other cards. People hate on Razer just because it's popular to hate on them. Same with Nickelback. Don't worry about those. I say if you want it then just get it and see how it goes.
