    @DutchTexan i understand ya there i try my best to have it running 24/7 however you're going up fast in points in 90 days or less at that pace you will pass me up and i am almost top 100

    for me it can be. i sometimes will just used the Xbox one so i don't have to take my computer away from folding.

    my Rig with folding@home kept my old place warm in the winter, however my new place it does not. At least with the colder temps my rig can run with lower fan speeds.

    Thanks, sadly my gameing computer is also being used as community computer and they dont always put folding back on. This is true i get more after some software updates i wonder how pascal will do. And yes silver, the mods will get to it.

    Thanks, i hit 10 million quickly however after had hardware issues and so lostbsome days of folding. Well then heavy gaming days. Thats very nice. Very soon

    So after almost 8 mouths of almost 24/7 folding i passed the 25 million mark. next up the 100 million. perhaps not in 2 years from now.

    A gtx 960 4gb i5 skylight locked. But I think i lucked out on the 960 as its gpu boost is much higher then advertised I wanna get a 1070 however

    i usually fold 24/7 and get about 6 to 10 but i get a lot of large WUs. i avg about 130k to 170k points a day, just 2 mil away from silver badge,

    i own this paid 30 more for it from newegg. yes there is a lot of glossy plastic. not a fan may paint it in time. however the screen looks great and the cost really cant be beat.

    i can only think of using a battery to run a fan all the time or when you power off the system. http://www.instructables.com/id/Super-easy-battery-powerd-computer-fan/step5/Your-Finished/ this looks like a good way to do that, i always run pc with folding @ home. so not something i ever think of doing,

    well that's good to hear. i only get real issues is when my internet goes offline for hours and a WU gets done within that time.

    does sound about right. i don't think it is very recommended to fold on a laptop unless it has very good cooling. i don't think they are meant to run 24/7 under full load

    yes the Chrome plugin just does CPU and smaller work units far as i know. the full install does CPU and GPU. with larger WU sometimes. if you want to get more points you will need to use the GPU.

    my internet is only 3 Mb's down and 2 Mb's up. not an issue with me. it does use about 2 GB a month but usage will be by how many WU's you can do.

    This would be great to have on trips were i work at some anime kons. And well at home too. I wonder how well it will do in lit conditions or just low light.

    nice stats @Riflemanm16a2 I've only been running for about 3 months myself with an always on pc. Electricity is part of my rent so i don't feel that hit however.
