LPT : you're looking for a cheap gadget and you're not in a hurry, check eBay, and in your search settings, look for auctions only, with free shipping, (you can also put a custom price range of needed).

Keep a few auctions in your watch lists and snipe the cheap ones right before they end. But don't start a bid war, I've seen people pay MORE on an auction than the "buy now" listing the same seller has. So check the price for the "buy now" option and always bid lower.

Doing this throughout the years, I scored many tempered glass screen protectors for the different phones I've had, cheap phone cases, charging USB cables,  SATA cables and other things like this for lower than $1-$1.25 CAD.

Just realized it's not something people seem to be aware of, that's why I'm sharing :)

I've snagged a lot of PC parts on auctions. I good a pretty good deal for it all except my current xeons. I wasn't paying attention and I bought them as a pair for more than it would have taken to buy them individually
