I just like the 1080p screen. I want to escape 1366x768 on my laptop.

I love the obvious things about the M8 like the speakers and the build quality. The last HTC phone I owned was a Thunderbolt and I want to try out HTC again, I feel like they've made up for all the mistakes they made on that phone.

I enjoy Linus' phone reviews. I do agree that the focus of the channel shouldn't stray from covering PC components. I don't think Linus has to review every phone that comes out, he should just do the biggest three or four phones that come out every year and let people like MKBHD review every phone that comes out.

I like to connect my computer to the TV in my living room every once in a while. Whenever I use my desktop I can find the setting for over/underscan in CCC. CCC on my laptop doesn't seem to have as many settings as the desktop version, and I can't find the option for this. Any suggestions? Having the black borders on the TV drives me crazy.

I don't think it is. There's cost to developing an app for one platform, and then developing it again.

I'm looking into adding a SSD to my computer, and I've more or less decided on getting a Samsung 840(http://amzn.to/17ND8nu). What are the advantages of stepping up to the 840 Pro?(http://amzn.to/1dTMC95) Is it worth the extra money to get the Pro, or should I go with an Intel or OCZ?

The developer edition is coming out for Verizon, but without the option of a subsidy. I don't want to pay full price for a phone if the carrier doesn't even offer discounted prepaid service.

I'm probably going to use a contract subsidy. I would love to buy a Nexus 4 and use T-Mobile prepaid, but Verizon has the best coverage where I live. Plus I'm on a family plan it isn't too terribly expensive.
