TES series isn't advancing yet, as instead Bethesda Studios has plans to remaster Skyrim, the fifth installment in the series. The release date is October 28, 2016. But wait, there's more! First of all, in addition to all the new graphical changes that may or may not put it on par with 500 ENBs, they are also allowing community mod support for console versions of the remaster. I don't personally play Skyrim on console, but I'm sure this is incredibly exciting news for any console players of the game. Secondly, and only for the PC version of the remaster, it will be completely free to anyone who already owns either the Steam Legendary Edition of Skyrim, or all three DLCs with the game (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn). For consoles or anyone who does not own all the DLC or even Skyrim already, it will officially retail at £49.99 (~$73.89). This includes Skyrim, all DLC, and all the new stuff added in. I personally am very excited for this and honestly can't wait till it comes out. I think Skyrim could do with a remaster that helps with its graphics without requiring a ton of mods hogging up resources. Discuss what you think about it in the comments!     Just...what? The human eye is not a camera; it doesn't perceive frames. People need to stop relating it to one. The blu-ray headaches are most likely caused by the blue light radiated from a screen (just like any other kind of display).

    Hey LTT, I've been scouring the internet for sci-fi themed atmospheric audio tracks but haven't been able to find anything. Do you guys have any ideas? Specifically, I'm not looking for actual music, but more just ambient tracks. Things like a futuristic docking station for example, with background chatter, some lady's voice occasionally saying something like "Docking port 3 available" over an intercom or something like that , and passing ships. Or like a "Derelict Ship" style track, with steam pipes and a general acoustic chord. I don't know if there are things like that but if you guys know of anything, I'd really appreciate it as I'd like to use it in a project I'm working on. Thanks for anything you can find, MDPS

In the vg247 source above, you can see the first gameplay footage recorded by youtuber MrMattyPlays. I for one am super excited. I'm a long time fan of KOTOR and have been wanting a third installment for years. This, of course, isn't that third installment, but it is going to be helping KOTOR get up to date with graphics, being built on the relatively new Unreal Engine 4. In the quote above, they also say many new features are going to be added. KOTOR 2 was just recently updated on Steam to support both community mods as well as achievements, and now the original KOTOR gets a fan-made update. And judging by the gameplay footage, they're doing a great job. I honestly cannot wait. Any KOTOR fans on the forum? Discuss below what you think about this! Also, the developers of the remaster are not accepting donations yet, but they say they will soon. I'll probably be one of the first to pledge EDIT: I tried searching the forum efficiently, and only after I posted it did I find another post by @DevilishBooster. Feel free to lock/merge/whatever this post Mods, or consider this the "New Gameplay" update as the original post did not have gameplay.

    Sorry for the noobish question, but I'm not really educated on DRMs or that sort of thing. It did successfully launch with no exploits or anything, so would your scenario be "legal" then?

    Hey LTT, So this weekend Steam had a free-weekend for the game Wasteland 2, and even though it's over, I can still play it by manually accessing the .exe in its files. Now I'm not one to torrent or pirate or anything like that. I just don't like the feeling of not having paid for something, so I wanted to know if it is in fact legal for me to keep the files and continue playing. Under my licenses i still have the complimentary license for it even though the free-weekend is over, in case that changes anything. Thanks, MDPS

They easily bought a controlling share from Gameloft, and they already have 17.7 percent of Ubisoft (and that's in fact growing). I honestly don't know how I feel about this personally. Vivendi's statement said they wouldn't make a move for the next six months, but that doesn't mean they won't ever. I don't know a lot about how a takeover would affect their products, but it would definitely affect the company as a whole. Discuss?
