I tested it, and I had a large sample size of 5 people. The highest was 74 fps, and 144hz and 74hz were inseparable.

The human eye can't see above 74 fps, you shouldn't notice a difference.

When you can use it, which is rare. It has no physical form, therefore wont be accepted as a currency in brick and mortar stores for a while.

Crypto currency is dead in the water, it doesn't really have a future. It would have to be introduced over a long period of time to everyone, and become stable. Bitcoin miners pretty much wrecked that idea which is ironic.

The 290x is the "equivalent". I would however get the 970. It's an awesome card for what you pay for.

If you put it in the bay closest to the windowed side panel you should be fine. If it didn't fit, which I doubt (since it's designed to fit in full towers) you could use Luke's ghetto drive bayless solution.
