I want Chinese food. None of that real stuff, I'm talking the fast food kind that overloads your take out boxes and serves Orange chicken, fried rice, and chow mein as the major menu items.

I'm pretty sure Chinese food is what just gave me a stomach bug earlier this week. Nothing quite like going to bed early with plans of getting an early start just to be abruptly woken at 1:30AM rushing to go pray to the porcelain god and not stumbling back to bed until 3:00AM knowing your plans are cancelled. Cold sweats, trembles, legs feel like wet noodles, stomach feels like a punching bag, the works. I still don't feel great. It's been 3 days.
So...are you still hungry?

Why would I fear getting food poisoning from a Chinese place just because you did? People get food poisoning from any type of restaurant all the time. There is nothing unique about Chinese food that makes it more likely to give you food poisoning.
The specific place you went to is not indicative of the food as whole.

That's fortunate for you guys. There's too much starch for me. I can't eat high amounts of pasta or grains due to IBS.

I see I could have phrased my messages better. My intention wasn't to shit on Chinese food. We've eaten from this shop many times over the years with no known problems. My intention was to make you lose your appetite cause I felt like teasing you.
That's not to say my story was a lie. I indeed ate something bad from somewhere and feel like shit.
