Seeing professors telling students they need to get Office 365 because they don’t know that Google Drive and iWork can all export in the .docx, .pptx, and .xlxs makes me sad. 

 

“Don’t use Pages!”

”I can’t open those”

    Wow... My MCB teacher is telling us to use Google Docs BECAUSE it's free and he can make edits easily.

    I just realized how Windows handles the unicode Male facepalm......it literally just uses the women facepalm emoji and buts the male gender sign next to it.......wow MS is lazy.

    Actually, it's like people saying use X, because Photoshop only exports as .psd.

    Granted the exports from those don't always come out nice when opened with Word, but I still don't understand it either. Just use a .pdf ffs, probably the most cross platform document format other than .txt.

    I just export the file to PDF. I use LibreOffice, I save my file to .doc most of the time since .docx is so broken in LibreOffice.
