In that case, would it speed up the time tables if Epic's game launcher reached statistical usage parity with Steam before the end of 2020? Would Epic actually stop using console-like exclusive practices if they do so? Or would giving them the benefit (of the doubt) actually cause for them to clamp down on said unwanted activities (positive reinforcement - psychology)? I'm kinda wondering what the intended purpose and motive(s) for the exclusives are now, seeing that those two factors will determine whether this type of action will persist in the long-term...
