  1. Nvm, I realised I have been a complete idiot. My motherboard has 5 pins not 4 on the rgb headers and I had been managing to get the pins above the actual holes in the connector. I knew something wasn't right how I didn't even get any LEDs to show, I had assumed it was motherboard compatibility or something. Feel free to laugh at my idiocy.
  2. Hi All, I am hoping this will be something simple but I can't seem to get my new EKWB Vadar Evos to work with the RGB fusion app. The fans spin up fine just no LED light at all. The EKWB website suggests that they will work with 'all major motherboard manufacturers' My Motherboard is Z370 Aorus Gaming Ultra I have tried: Both RGB headers Different fan headers With and without splitter cable Unplugging replugging Updating RGB Fusion Updating my Bios Multiple EKWB Vadar Evos Any ideas on how to get this to work? Thanks in advance.
  3. Is there anything that would work that is simpler and doesnt have tons of controls over it?
  4. Looks promising, I like the idea of building a SSF PC but I just get aggravated building in small cases. With this said it looks great.
  5. Hi guys, What would I need to run these as they use an XLR lead? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Technica-BPHS1-Broadcast-Stereo-Headset/dp/B003D87JI2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450129933&sr=8-1&keywords=bphs+1 I have seen in the bought with section that people are buying 'Mixers' with it what is it I should be looking for if I get these? My budget for the mixer/adapter is about £50 gbp.
  6. Have you ever compared a 7.1 headset to a pair of good stereo headphones? You might think that 7.1 is better for games but it really isnt helpful it just makes it sound artificial so that you dont naturally feel where the sound is coming from but where it wants you to hear it from and it dulls down the direction I reccomend a good stereo headset over 7.1
  7. If the performance is good then I think it is a great idea but obviously it needs to outperform other small form factor air coolers or it is pointless.
  8. Didnt think of that, well im off to see if I can find a good tenkeyless low profile keyboard.
  9. A pair of Beyer 770s for my brother as he is still using a pair of headphones that cost him £50 about 7 years a go, I have the 990s myself but he likes closed back headphones so I'm sure he would like the 770s and because they are the 32Ohm version he would be able to use them for his tablet and phone which is always a plus.. http://www.amazon.com/beyerdynamic-DT-770-Pro-ohm/dp/B0016MNAAI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449735925&sr=8-2&keywords=beyer+770
  10. I have been through a fair few mice and the steelseries rival (it was just called rival when I got it) is by far the best in software and feel. +The clicks are far quieter then other mice +The software is great for tweaking and macro making +The shape is really nice +It has pretty nice lighting effects if thats your thing. - The only downside to the rival is the weight it is light and there is no weights you can add Previous mouse and their pros and cons M65 +Nice feel and quality +Customisable weights - Software doesnt allow mouse click macros - Sniper button is just out of reach and is rarely useful Mionix Naos 3200 +Really really comfortable +Nice quality -Loud clicks -Again the software doesnt allow mouseclick macros Sharkoon Fireglider +Comfortable +Well built +Cheap +Good macros and button positions -Clicks are somewhat loud
  11. Hi guys, Pretty simple question really, I want to know if you can get low profile key caps for cherry mx keyboards I had a quick look and couldnt find anything but I'm sure if they exist someone here will be able to help me out. Thanks in advance Cale
  12. Fractal node 202, I cant be bothered to change to itx it would cost too much to swap I like the idea of having a compact gaming rig.
  13. I went for mAtx because of this, space wasn't an issue but I didnt want to bother with something big but at the same time I didnt want to sacrifice potential SLI or Crossfire so the obvious choice was mAtx.
  14. The idea seems legitimate but at the same time it would be insanely dangerous if it went wrong but I imagine they would design it to be safe enough to use.
  15. Cougar is a somewhat known brand to me but I know they vary from solid good powersupplies to cheap tacky ones. If its a decent cougar power supply at 600w it will be fine.
