ASUS ROG Strix X99 Motherboard
Popoqwerty replied to BronyPie's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I would buy an 'normal' motherboard. Why should you pay for functions you don't need, they do not improve your performance. Just invest in a normal but good motherboard and use the spare money for something like RAM. -

I would like to win this this fast SSD. Why, because I can create a disk in my PC to use as cache and install my games on. Or the second idea is to put it in my NAS as a fast cachedisk.

I was wondering why Adobe After Effects does not use the CPU at a 100% sometimes. So here are some of my results: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=9726B8EF6BB28F9B!142316&ithint=file%2cxlsx&app=Excel&authkey=!AH_RS1kTll-2P30 If you want to benchmark too, send me a message and I will give the download link. I made the file in Dutch and English mixed, so here are some trasnaltions for you: Adobe AE versie = Adobe AE Version Render tijd = Render time CPU gebruik = CPU usage GPU gebruik = GPU usage Bestandsgrootte = File size Bestandstype = Extension Opmerkingen = Remark Remarks: #1 Huge file #2 - #3 - #4 Does not have an H.265 CODEC #1 - #2 F disk jumps to 100% sometimes - SSD Cache disk #3 F disk always 100% - SSD Cache disk #4 Fast render, small file

Yes, but it is old DDR to DDR2 RAM. Max 2GB. Most of them are 512MB.

Sorry but this isn't something special. The top of the boat is cut off, horizon isn't horizontal. 3/10. -
Do you know any foreign languages? If yes, how many and which?

I am still studying, I know English, Dutch and German. -
What is a good video rendering program?
Popoqwerty replied to Br3tt96's topic in Photography and Videography
I am using Adobe After Effects with Premiere Pro. It is not free, but you can get it for free. Or just download the trial version and when it's over make a new account and do it again. -

I give it a 7/10. I like the idea of the colours, but it is not sharp, sorry. Here is a photo, made in the Netherlands. (@Texel) -
Solved, I placed my GPU 1 slot higher. And now I have a 2400 points benchmark.

I have one big problem with my GTX 980 ti. My FPS is very low and sometimes the screen is freezing. Here is a video with my settings and benchmark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOoJAjqSC_k And scores from other GPU's with the same settings, everything maxed on 1920*1080. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18487976&page=59 I have installed the latest MSI drivers and NVIDIA GeForce Experience drivers too. What is this, the GPU is brand new, got it yesterday. I had a GTX 780 and that GPU scored better than this, that can not be true. Do you think this build is good?
Popoqwerty replied to tech4life567's topic in New Builds and Planning
Nope, do not buy the 5820K if you are going to use SLI. Take the 5930K with 40 lanes. I have a 5820K, and it's a beast, and also easy to overclock. I am overclocking it stable from 3.3Ghz -> 4.0Ghz with a BeQuiet! Dark Rock pro 3. -
Hi, I was on eBay and found a nice geeky thing, a USB led fan clock, it shows the time and keeps your head cool. Here is a link to it, I bought one too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/191588282630?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Just $10 with shipping costs. Here is a video, I made it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCpENyHsBQg
