  1. good Idea! I'm glad I thought of that jkjk
  2. Where can I find the links for amazon through LTT? I've never used them b4, ever. Trying to give a little love to LTT
  3. Whats the current status? I'm sorry I haven't been on to respond. Install errors are not normal, and or a good thing. You mentioned it wouldn't update. So I assume you made it to the win7 desktop.
  4. If it's still possible, I would try the install method you had before from your friend. With the VLK code. Just do the steps I had mentioned. partition, format, etc . .
  5. If you do this, as stated earlier, uninstall all drives except your main drive. Chose the "custom" install. then click the "Drive Options (advanced)" Next delete all partitions and that drive. Create a new one (or several sizes of your choice if you want to split up the drive). The installer will notify you that its going to create a partition for system files (or something like that) just proceed and let it happen. After you have created your partition(s) and formatted the drive, you are clear to proceed with your fresh install.
  6. I'm no rocket surgeon, but it sounds to me like you did not do a full (complete) restore. If it were me, I would definitely re-install, doing a partition and format. I'm sure you know, that in doing so EVERYTHING on that drive will be erased. So be sure to backup all pertinent data.
  7. Imakuni , that's why I initially hopped into this forum, To request the snazzy gold badge but of course I find other interesting topics as well. Thank you
  8. Mine wouldnt fold either. Found out the WU's arent being friendly with CPU's set to a prime #. mine was default -1 which made it run at 7. I changed it to 6, works great. Also just FYI the new Nvidia 375 series drivers wont work either. IDK if thats just on pascal, but I know it stands true with Pascal. I Changed to the previous driverset, upon suggestion of a F@H moderator. And it fixed my GTX 1070 not folding issue. If i'm repeating info already on here sorry,
