  1. I wasn't asking, I was disagreeing with you. I've found their build quality to be quite poor.
  2. I wasn't talking about BIOS flaws, I was talking about build quality...
  3. As far as specs are concerned, this seems perfect. However, I have been very disappointed in the build quality of Sager systems in the past...
  4. It would seem I am again in the company of Nurse Ratched. Come now, what are your thoughts?
  5. The laptop I'm replacing is a GT70 Dominator Pro with the extreme edition processor inside. It has some serious quality control problems...
  6. ? Isn't that for desktop building only?
  7. Hi, All! I'm planning to buy a gaming laptop soon. My budget is $2k (before tax). The titles I play are as follows: DOTA 2 Witcher 3 Guild Wars 2 Cities: Skylines Overwatch Rust Civ 6 ...and a LOT of old RTSs. I also do mild content creation. The following things are important for me to have: -some sort of i7. I'm not against a dual-core i7-7500U if everything else is amazing -16gb of RAM -some sort of pcie SSD -at least 256gb storage (I really don't need more than 512 tops, though) -dedicated graphics (ideally at least a 970M, and pascal GPUs would be nice) -premium, aluminum construction (ideally a unibody)******** very important to me -either a 13.9'', 14'', 15'', or 15.6'' display -enough I/O for mouse, wireless headset, and one or two other peripherals. -ethernet would be nice, but not absolutely necessary -thin, portable form factor -keyboard with good tactile feedback and decent key travel. The following things are less important to me: -graphics settings (I'm happy to crank down to high graphics settings instead of ultra for thermal reasons, but would generally prefer to stay away from min graphical settings) -resolution (1080p, 1440p, and 3200x1800 are all fine by me, but 4k seems overkill on such a small screen) -touchscreen (neat, but not super useful to me) -trackpad (nice to have a good one, but i'll be using a mouse 70%+ of the time) Thoughts?
  8. You clearly don't understand the use case (admittedly a niche) for laptops like the Razer Blade Stealth, and haven't read the poster's questions. Let me paste them here for you: "Hello, I have some questions about the Newest Razor Blade Stealth. 1. Does any one know when the New Razor Blade Stealth is coming out in New Zealand? 2. Will it run photoshop at QHD? 3. What is the price likely to be in New Zealand when it comes out?"
  9. Dackzy, don't you have anything better to do than to get on threads about the Razer Blade and volunteer your own two cents, even when it's irrelevant to the questions asked? The Razer Blade and Razer Blade Stealth are definitely not for most use cases, but there is an important market niche for them and competitors like the Aorus x3.
  10. Is there a limit to the lanes allocated on the board to ssds? I could do RAID 0 with two if I wanted?
  11. OH! So both GPUs would run at x8 and the m.2 uses chipset lanes?
  12. Hi all! im building a desktop system currently, and currently, my plan is to have two 980tis in SLI and a Samsung m.2 512GB as my main drive. I remember from a recent Linus video though that while x8 GPUs caused barely any performance reduction, modern GPUs wouldn't run in SLI on 4 lanes only. With an m.2 drive taking up lanes, do I need to go x99? best, Ian
  13. I have a Corsair k65. I've lost some keycaps and realized that blue switches are just TOO clacky for me...
  14. Wasn't what we were just talking about. We were talking about weight. It also isn't the reason we're here. I simply asked whether Linus would be releasing a review of the new version, and you saw fit to be a troll.
