  1. good to see a solid reply and many people from the team that is LMG.
  2. I think that there's opportunity for acknowledgement of the things in the GN video and for LMG and LTT to learn from this and grow.
  3. I totally agree with you that there has been many small things over time, the one i mentioned in this post was the "straw that broke the camels back" so to speak I am a huge supporter of both LTT and GN and believe they both strive for excellence and I wholy expect LTT to bounce back positively from this!
  4. The GN video was some top level investigative journalism. I think it would have been fair to not post the video and let LTT have private access to the work and have an opportunity to make a collaborative response. That said, I watched GN's Video 3 times to really absorb the content and truly comprehend everything that was said and there's a lot of solid details and what was probably hundreds of hours digging through hundreds of LTT videos in order to gather all the details and information for GN to post this video. LTT Cast the first stone. While it was unintentionally cast by it being from a private video on a personal youtube channel it was said publicly and that is where this came from. I truly hope that LMG and LTT take this opportunity to go through this video and use it for what it truly is a fair and extremely critical scrutiny of the LMG processes and their team that is burnt out and cannot maintain the standards that LMG built the foundation on. I truly hope that after LMG is done licking their wounds and feeling upset and frustrated from this complete teardown of their process use it to rebuild back stronger and better than ever. The GN video is well done and should be leveraged by LMG. Companies pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for critical reviews like the one provided here for free and publicly. Either way, No news is bad news and both GN and LMG will benefit hugely from this massive viewership boon from this!.
  5. thanks for sharing these. I believe i watched them back in the day. What is interesting about this persons work that differs from these is that the work he is doing is open source. I'm glad these videos exist and more traction and talking about stick drift needs to keep happening as buying $70 controllers every 30 to 90 days is very costly. Even having a controller repaired is a costly and timely endeavor.
  6. Thank you! Sorry for my lack of understanding on where to post these. I don't post much here but try to not break the rules and put it in the right place! Great appreciation for the mods and the work you all do!
  7. The industry needs consumers to demand change in this category in order to solve that problem. on their own those companies will not change. We need to work together to spread the word and demand better and demand change in regards to this stick drift issues. I'm sure i am not the only one who has a pile of stick drift controllers sitting around... I am a bit disappointed at the perceived negativity and the "we can't change this" attitude in the very first response to what is some very cool tech and very cool work that this person is doing to try and provide open source solutions to a very big and growing problem.
  8. I stumbled across this mechanical engineer YouTube channel who is working on hall effect joysticks for controllers named Marius Heier on YouTube. he has posted several video's in the last several months of some amazing hall effect joysticks and showing installing them on controllers with stick drift and showing them working properly. He is making all his research etc. Open Source and offering it up to anyone or any company! I would love to see this get some serious traction and pressure be put on the likes of Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, and all other peripheral makers to change their practices. E-waste is a huge problem and stick drift is certainly one of the top contributors due to these controllers failing well before they're unusable. I think this would be a great thing to cover on the Wan show and also to get some of the prototype samples to the LAB for some in depth testing and review! Marius has done so much work on this and deserves the assistance in getting the word out and getting noticed on the big stages to make some serious leaps forward in resolving stick drift. Not sure if youtube links are allowed but if it isn't you can look him up by his Youtube user name @MariusHeier1 < removed by moderation >
  9. I was just working on a project and couldn't use any regular length bits. I think LTT designing and selling long bits would be very beneficial and come in so handy all around. Thankfully i had some RC screwdriver sets that are very useful and was able to finish working on my project but it would be nice to have some LTT ones that are similar. That and some Ball end bits would be extremely useful!
  10. Update: Replacement arrived today! thank you LTT. hi LTT, I've been waiting for a response to my support ticket on this issue but its october 14th and there's been little to no updates. I've tried responding to the support ticket, i have submitted a second ticket referring to the first (don't like to do that but after waiting 1 month ish for a response what else do i do?) I'm a patient person but i'd like an update on the timeframe for the replacement that you have offered. Hoping this forum post will help. if anyone has some more suggestions on ways to get an update i am all ears.
  11. Vortex Radar has responded to the LTT video. they're a great channel in the Sumas Washington area. LTT should reach out to them for more details on dashcams and radar detectors
  12. great video with so much information. This needs to be shared by everyone and fight back against these scam callers!
  13. stumbled across this video during some late night youtubing and it was interesting to see 2013's Linus Sebastian's take on Bitcoin and the future of crypto mining. So glad these videos are still around and are great watches still for flashbacks into time LOL video timestamp 1:21:25 in case the link doesn't work properly
  14. at least ~500 cards went out the door today. That's 500 less shoppers hopefully.
