Yeah, I was gonna use any mic in cardioid pattern regardless of the modes it supports Imma use cardioid, so are those extra wheels worth it? Only thing bothering me is there's no mute button on Snowball if I'm not mistaken. I couldn't have anything Razer. It'd kill me inside. 70€ new, I can find used for 50€, I guess.
-
Well basically up to Blue Yeti. I saw some of them used going for 80€.

I have a decent facebook group of 73k people and I was thinking about getting back to streaming for the group. Since Cloud II's microphone ain't cutting it I started looking for a microphone upgrade. I really wanted the Blue Yeti as it's USB and I don't want to really go for audio interface and spend bajillion bucks on it if all I need is simple microphone upgrade that's somewhat decent. This whole streaming idea might not work out afterall so I don't want to invest too much. Since I'm a student, money's tight. After realising I'd have to get boom arm, shock mount and probably pop filter I'm starting to look for some good alternatives for Blue Yeti. Blue Snowball and Snowball iCE look like a good replacement but I'm not sure. That's why I'm here so you peepz could help me in a way. So the requrements are: >have to be USB >mountable >cheaper than Yeti

It's so simple. If you don't like it just move. Why is everyone expecing them being treated like high profile people? Every organizator ever makes mistakes, and especially if they're making a trip to somehwere they haven't been yet, it's hard to actually know conditions of the hotel and the rooms wthout seeing them. Just pure drama for nothing.

Water block for and radeon Rx 550???
Yoola replied to Vicozzy109's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
How do you even get to the idea of watercooling low end GPU instead of upgrading it. I just don't understand some of you folks. -
I'd randomly guess because it went Free2Play so bajillion people are 'playing it' for a moment and everything is crashing as they're not usred to that much of a load.

Struggling to get 4.7 GHz OC on an i7-8700K
Yoola replied to kingmustard's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I'd say 1.4 for daily use. But that's again considering the temps are ok. What kind of temperatures are you getting now on this 240mm AIO? -
There's other material on the interwebs. Technically there's not really much difference. Peak performance will usually stay same, it's mostly just about idling and saving power while under light load. USB suspensing etc.

I wouldn't push voltages too far if it's not delidded. Once delidded, you're ok to go basically as far as temperatures reach you. -
Those temps are ok. You won't shorten CPU's lifespan even if it was 10°C warmer. Save that money and invest in something else later on.

Optane is pointless. Just get a good SSD with DRAM. You can't go wrong with Samsung SSD's.

What resolution are you playing on? Did you uninstall and clean old drivers with DDU before replacing the graphics card?

I've had Steelseries Siberia 200 a year ago. I wouldn't take Steelseries again. I'm a Logitech fan, but wasn't sure about their headsets. So I went safe route and went with HyperX Cloud II as it was #1 recommendation for all-arounder. If I were to buy again, I'd get decent headphones and a standalone microphone (something like Blue Yeti or so).

Yah keep telling yourself. Razer fanboys are same like trump supporters, they have to yell everyone they're damaged. "i'm such gamerzzzZZZzzz grrr xDDDDD XDD Xdddd Xddd rawr"

Wow... Just wow...

Because it's a feature? I agree with him. I burned myself once on Razer and I'll never buy it again. That BS broke faster than if I ordered some cheap chinese thing off ebay. There's obviously a reason pepole aren't so fond of Razer nowadays, and if you'll tell yourself everything just to make yourself feel better, go for it. But truth is out there and people need to know. ^-^ Corsair Zowie Logitech Finalmouse HyperX Roccat Steelseries All better options to consider before Razer.

I've been using Logitech MX-518 for a lot of years, then Logitech G402 for few months and I finally found perfect one for me. Logitech G403. Check RocketJumpNinja and his suggestions on mouse size and shape etc. in order to find perfect one for you.

This is solid side panel case, so internal looks aren't of importance. And I'm mostly function over form so some major looks improvement doesn't make me happier in terms of setup

It's a student dorm so I can't do anything on their inventory. Trust me the room would look much different if I could But excellent ideas!

So I'm basically going out of ideas for the build future and upgrade path. I'm not looking into major upgrades like platform change (whole CPU+MoBo+RAM combo), and especially GPU with those prices. But I usually enjoy minor upgrades and some functional improvements. I had in mind fan controller and perhaps Blue Yeti. Any simmilar ideas? Here are specifications: CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k @ 4.6GHz 1.28V - Delidded CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 GPU: iChill X4 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H RAM: 16GB HyperX Fury 1866MHz Case: Fractal Design Define S Fans: 6x Fractal Design Dynamic GP-14 PSU: Corsair RM550x Fully Modular SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Screens: Dell S2417DG (1440p 165Hz G-SYNC) + LG 22EA63 (1080p 60Hz IPS) Keyboard: Logitech G810 Mouse: Logitech G403 Speakers: Logitech Z333 Webcam: Logitech C920 Headset: HyperX Cloud II https://pcpartpicker.com/b/kKq48d And here's how it looks:
