  1. Hi, Is there any reasonable laptops on the market with a silent keyboard. I take notes for meetings where the current laptop does a lot of tapping. It will only be used for office work but USB-C with display out would be ideal as I will be plugging in a hub with 2 screens attached. 15” or 17” preferred. Many thanks
  2. *waits for the LG G5* But props to JB Hifi, I guess
  3. Trust News.com.au to make it sound like the end of the world.
  4. I'm currently having issues with opening the App Store. I have tried to manually install the KB3081438 update (which was meant to fix the Store issue) but it was already installed through Windows Update
  5. I remember an old friend of mine had a program where he had it bound to a set of keystrokes where it changed his play back device from his headset to speakers. Just wondering if anyone else would know of a program that does that? Thanks
  6. I personally prefer League over DOTA2. I've got many friends on both games, and I have tried many times to get into DOTA2, but it just doesn't click with me. However, I do enjoy SMITE. $30AU for all current and new champions? Sold.
  7. Dual channel > tri channel for your processor. I run 8GB atm, but I'd like to go for 16GB in my next build. I'm constantly pushing 7GB of usage and Windows doesn;t like that
  8. This is why I always keep my monitor's box and packaging. Makes going to LANs so much easier
  9. RIP Xfire. Thank you for your services that allowed me to make friends while playing CoD4.
  10. I have no idea what I am doing

  11. I can't even remember more than 15 states currently
  12. But I don't wanna learn the name of 50 more countries
  13. Oh, you do..? I didn't get told about this on my first post. Then again, it was the one where AMD was trying to call NVIDIA out on sabotage. Insta shit posting thread. I'll edit in something
  14. Shiet. I did search for it. Bugger. Maybe I screwed up the search. Apologies
  15. You have two options. > Do it while it's on and kill your PC. > Do it while it's off and not kill your PC. The only time when you can gloat about uptimes is running a server that provides a service to people. Considering your responses in this thread, I am 99.99% confident that you aren't running a server that provides a service to other people. PS: If you do it and your PC dies, let us know so we can laugh at you, ok?
  16. http://www.techspot.com/news/60911-new-york-lays-down-strict-rules-bitcoin-operations.html This is the first I've heard about a Governmental body wanting to be on top of this. Unfortunately, I don't know really much about US law and how states handle things. Does seem like the US Federal Government gives more control over finances to the State Governments compared to Australia
  17. Read up on my calculations: Is saving $100 worth: 1) The wait for it to be shipped. 2) What if your card is DOA or has an issue that requires it to go back to the store you brought it from? I just saw your post. Based on what my friends tell me, living in WA sucks because of how isolated Perth is from the rest of the country. Also I thought Amazon didn't ship to Australia? Everything I seem to buy has to go through a mail forwarding centre.
  18. Singapore is super small (716.1km2). The country is smaller than the Melbourne metropolitan area (7694km2) and has about a million more people (Melbourne [2011]: 4.1m. Singapore [2013]: 5.399m). It's easier to maintain a high quality service in a smaller area.
  19. Every time some new piece of technology comes out in Australia, there is always one person who complains about the lack of "equality" pricing against the Australians. Australians get paid more than Americans. Australians pay more for technology than Americans because we import off them. Australians have a much higher standard of living compared to Americans. (Hello? Free health care?) for example. I dare any Australian that complains about the lack of equality to go on a US Tech shopping site, buy a 980Ti, ship it to a US mail forwarding service, then ship it to Australia and see how much better off you are. For example: Buy a 980Ti off NCIXUS.com ($649) then ground shipping to ShipIto.com ($9.95) then pay the mail forwarding centre ($1) then pay for the USPS postage over to Australia (~$75) 649+9.95+1+75 = $734.95 Convert that to AUD (@$1.29) = $948.78 Hey! Look at that. You saved $100, wasted a week (or more) waiting for the damn thing to arrive and imagine if you need to send your card off for warranty. TL;DR: Why the heck is this in the News sub forum?!
  20. Going to hit my first million in the next 2 days. Currently sitting at 152k PPD for a overclocked 7950. Currently ranked 737th in the team. Only got into the top 1000 a few days ago
  21. I got a shoutout. Yay! Although, I did not expect that thread to turn into what it did
  22. Stay away from MSY. They have had major issues with the ACCC in the past.
  23. Just patching up. 26GB at 3MB/s (usually) will take time. I own a Origin Jumpworks 325A and I have applied to the LTT Conglomerate
