  1. AMD has been notorious for running hot. - https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/435570-do-amd-products-run-hotter-than-intel/ // AMD puts out more heat, Intel runs hotter. You put and AMD system & intel in the same room, the room the AMD is in, will be hotter. Yes, I know that GPU is not CPU dependent. But, they do seem to work better together, no? With this he should be fine for 2 years, I think. At that point I'd get new hardware anyway. I see your point, though. We just wanna stick to Intel. I've personally only had problems with AMD, I don't want him to worry about them, considering we don't live close to eachother.
  2. AMD just runs hot & I like how Intel & GTX just, work. I prefer intel & he does too.
  3. Hmm.. I referred to this video about this. Doesn't seem like the 7700K is too far behind..

  5. Eh... too much work. Just wanna buy one, plug it in, and have it work.
  6. Hi all.. Need a new router as it's throttling my speeds. When connected straight to modem ( brand new bought today ) i get 180Mbps. When connected to router (hard wired) it's around 60. so the router is the problem. currently looking at this one and seems the best... https://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-ac1750-dual-band-wi-fi-router-black/9054017.p?skuId=9054017
  7. Thank you! 1TB should be more then enough and the 256gb SSD is nice for the OS so it will be snappy. Thanks.
  8. Thin and Light - Not really, I 100% want a dedicated GFX card. Battery Life - 90% of the time it's gonna be plugged it. Gaming Performance - Med - High settings. Screen - 15-17 Storage - Alot. GTA & witcher are Giant by themselves.
  9. Hi all. I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop. I don't have any requirements really. Under $1,500, atleast 1080p. Currently looking at this one - http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/new-inspiron-15-7000-gaming/spd/inspiron-15-7577-laptop/dncwfs618h - but was seeing if I could push my budget a little bit more. Thank you all!
  10. I use it for your exact grip and it works perfectly for me. not too many buttons. Finger rests are useless. You're gripping the mouse, why do you need a rest? There is rubber on both sides. I've put 850 hrs into my current Razer Deathadder Chroma with almost 1 million clicks & 10 miles traveled.. The mouse doesn't break on it's own. My blackwidow ultimate, I've had 943 hours played and over 3 million keystrokes. I'm really confused how people are breaking their Razer gear.
  11. if you're going for looks you need to look somewhere else. It's not about looks, it's about function. http://10beasts.com/best-gaming-mouse/
  12. it's not luck. My last mouse lasted 3 yrs before i smashed it. Treat your equipment with respect and it doesnt die.
  13. This is the only thing I buy from Razer. 2 weeks? lol. You must treat your mice like shit. I've had mine 1 yr+ and it's still strong.
  14. 100% fanspeed with 80-100 usage is around 65
