  1. Hi, When I launch CSGO (clean install) my sound engine glitches the fk out and starts making a loud ass basey vibration, and I don't go to the main menu so its just black. When I close the game, the noise just continues untill I reboot the PC. Anyone know whats going on?
  2. Hi, I've had this issue for a while now and I've tried finding a solution multiple times before, but without success. I'm on WIFI and the router is one floor below, in a house with weaponized concrete walls. When I'm playing any game, such as CSGO, my ping will be about 25 - 40 consistently. But every now and then (could be only a couple of times during a 40 minute match, could be basically the whole match) my ping will shoot up to somewhere around 1500 and maintain a high ping for a few seconds or longer. Occasionally, the game will even freeze and disconnect me from the server. The ping can also just be generally unstable and go up and down a lot more often. I've tried using a different WIFI adapter for my PC, but without improvement. Could it just be the fact that I'm using WIFI? Or is it something else? I've added an ingame clip of when the ping can suddenly skyrocket. Feel free to ask questions and I hope someone can help :-) -ReThorb_ highping1.mp4
  3. All about what you prefer man, so I would recommend the OP would listen to both of them.
  4. Well I have the HD 558, and its fucking great. I can barely hear the difference between this and the HD 598, so yeah you might as well save ALOT of money and go with the HD 558's. As far as the 990 pros go, well I think the sound signature of Sennheiser is one that is enjoyed by almost everyone, where the 990 pros are a little more.. specific. Also the beyerdynamics have 250 Ohms, the HD 5** only have 50, so the Sennheisers are probably more enjoyable without the use of an AMP.
  5. Yes, except I would say Sennheiser HD 598 instead of the Beyerdynamics
  6. Just get a 480gb ssd for that money, dont bother with nvme

    Wifi slow

Hello, My wifi connection has been terrible this evening. It's not an interfering radio channel (checked that in the control panel) or some user having windows update in the background (we're on DSL so that matters a lot). In CSGO I'm getting about 200 - 300 ping right now, usually 50 - 65. Interestingly, when I restart the router or change the radio channel the ping becomes normal but only for 30 seconds or so. Anyone know what's up?
  8. Sorry to waste everyone's time! I got an HD 558 just now from dad for my birthday and I couldn't be happier, I listened to an HD 599 in a shop and I was really impressed but I don't think I can even hear the difference between that and this HD 558. Thanks anyways everyone!
  9. Hi, Im looking for a new pair of headphones and I want to go Sennheiser, just don't know all the differences between the models in the HD 500 series. So basically HD 558, HD 559, HD 598, HD 599 and HD 579 (568 and 569 are closed, I want open). Who wins and which is best value?
  10. Hi, I'm revisiting the big problem the computer on which I'm writing this has, namely that a lot of programs crash when I start them. (examples: MS Office apps, Instagram for Windows, Minecraft, Configure and Update Java). Some programs say "program x has stopped working" or they just don't open when I click on them or they open and close right afterwards. The programs always crash in the same way. It's interesting that for basically none of the programs I'm able to find a fix, or even anyone on the internet who has the same exact problem. (except for Minecraft, but the fix for that one didn't work for me after trying many times) A few months ago I tested the CPU in a different motherboard with different RAM (i3 4130, Asus H81), that worked fine for all of the above programs, I wish I had tested it with a different motherboard but the same RAM though. Ofcourse I also tested with and without the GPU, which - expectedly - didn't make a difference. I installed Windows 10 Pro multiple times on the SSD and even tested if running Windows from the HDD would solve it, but the problems persisted in both scenarios. I also ram Passmark MemTest - which an ASRock customer support guy recommended - which resulted in NO ERRORS. Customer support also said the issue might be that the motherboard and RAM aren't working together quite right, because I am running some unknown brand, old DDR3 RAM from my prebuilt PC from 2009 (which worked fine together with an i3 550 in what I believe was an H55 motherboard). But the problem with that is that I also tested the PC with the same motherboard and CPU but different, much newer RAM (2x 4GB DDR3 1866MHz Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer), but that didn't solve the problem either! I have come here with the same problem before, just with less information and prior knowledge, so I would honestly be surprised if anyone here does know what the source of all these crashes is. But hey, every good ICT-er should be up for a challenge right? I hope to hear from anyone that knows where the problem lays, or the steps I should take to bring me closer to solving it. - SPECS - i5 4590* - 2x2GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM from old prebuilt - ASRock B85M Pro3 - Asus GTX 660 DirectCU 2* - ADATA SP900 128GB - Old 320GB HDD from old prebuilt - XFX TS 430 * = bought second hand - ReThorb_
