  1. What about the Air240? That's pretty close to the 380T in terms of size and very easy to work with.
  2. No problem at all 600Q is a pretty solid case too!
  3. If you're referring to the new TX-M series (black and gray label), then yes, that's a pretty solid PSU.

Neat! Didnt know Corsair had an LTT account. Wo…

I don't think its because of the sales #, it did pretty good in the channels worldwide during its run. There's actually a lot of factors that affects a product's lifespan in the market. For PC cases for example, we tend to refresh ID probably like every 2 years average. When a certain SKU has been on the market for x amount years, a new ID will then get introduced to the Case team as a successor to the previous model. The Case team will then evaluate the SKU and decide if they are going to keep manufacturing it or EOL it. That decision is totally up to the Case team's discretion whether that SKU is going to get killed or not based on sales, trend, margin, production, etc.
  5. Not at all, its all good At this point, we all know by now where the VS sits in our PSU hierarchy. I just want to make sure that we all deliver the correct message, that's all. But yeah, I have to agree, the latest iteration of CXM series has been solid thus far. Our PSU team has done a great job of implementing the new spec.
  6. We've just published a cable matrix compatibility for our PSUs. It's a pretty good resource for cable reference. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/landing/psu-cable-compatibility
  7. We've never tested that cooler with our 400Q case so I can't tell you 100% sure it's going to fit or not, but that case will be able to handle a cooler with a height up to 170mm. That's from the boards PCB to the side panel.
  8. That PSU has Over/Under voltage/current protection so it'll protect itself and your components once it detects something that's out of spec so I wouldn't really worry about it damaging other parts of your system. If the fan is not running at all, then I would suggest that you get it replaced from Amazon OR you can always get a replacement from us via RMA process. That PSU is defective.
  9. Thanks. Sorry for the late reply but I'll provide you the tracking info once they are shipped.
  10. Yes, you can control the rad fan's rpm/curve based on either CPU temp or coolant temp, that's totally up to you. We normally recommend to base it on coolant temp because when the temp goes up or go down, it's more gradual as opposed to core temp. You want the fans to have a smooth transition when it ramps up and when it slows down.
  11. It's decent enough for that build, but like what everyone said on this thread, it's one of our entry level PSU.
  12. @jorge97 Post your ticket # from Corsair. I may have a few rings here laying around that have no purpose, you could put them work if you want
  13. @Tiwaz Corsair Link 4 has been pretty solid in terms of stability for the past few months. We were able to iron out all the minor issues that we saw from Link users on our forum and others. But my suggestion is, If you are going to run your H80i with Corsair Link, I would not run it with NZXT's CAM as we have seen a few cases in the past where those 2 software didn't play well together. I'd lean towards using Speedfan instead to run simultaneously with Corsair Link.
  14. Those temps are so much better. Glad to see that you've got it all sorted out
  15. Sorry for the long wait on these bracket guys. I understand that it's a bit frustrating being in your situation. I do have an update for you guys. We will start shipping out to our hubs worldwide by early next week so if you have put in a pre-order, we will get your orders processed and expedited anytime next week. Again, I would like to apologize for the delay.
  16. Your idle temp is fine, I don't see any problem there. Btw, can you please provide your system spec? It'd be helpful to know the set of hardware we're dealing with. The part that you said intermittent spike in temp, was the system under load? or was it just on idle or normal use?
  17. What is your idle temp? Try to download HWMonitor and see if you're getting the same reading
  18. Brackets are actually on their way to our hubs, so it might take two weeks before they ship out to those who pre-ordered them. And just to clarify, the AM4 bracket is free if you use the coupon code that we provided on our website
  19. I'm assuming that you're trying to connect the Commander and the cooler, is that correct? If so, which cooler do you have?
  20. Its this one right? if yes, you'll be fine
  21. Sounds like its coming from the fan so its not coil whine. That's actually pretty loud, I would suggest that you get it replaced via RMA right away. You can submit your RMA request here, Corsair.force.com How is your system though? is it stable?
  22. The CX series = Coli whine is a little misleading, due to the fact that "coli whine" could be present on any PSU in general. Yes, CX is not really built for high end systems, BUT for entry level builds, CX are good enough - lots of CX users can attest to that. What is your system spec?
  23. You're right, we should. We're actually working on it. We'll be adding more spare parts for the Spec Alpha case and other models.
  24. If that's a brand new cooler, then that's not uncommon with new units. They are usually trapped air inside the loop that will eventually work itself way out. Just give it a few days. How's your CPU temp?
