Return 6700k and buy 7700k?
SuperCarrot replied to itzzkolt's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I say go for it since Kaby Lake is essentially going to replace Skylake in retail. So go for the latest/greatest. -
To get the fullest out of the Kaby Lake you'll need to upgrade the motherboard. Even if you don't want to upgrade the motherboard still go for a Kaby Lake since it's essentially going to replace Skylake

So if I'm building a new system should I just go with the i7-7700k rather than the i7-6700k? Since the price difference isn't big.

So I'm building another gaming computer running the Asus GeForce GTX 1080 STRIX, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX and a Samsung 950 PRO SSD with a 2TB Seagate HDD, But what I'm struggling on is deciding on what cpu to use. So I was thinking of using the i7-6700k with the Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO Motherboard or the i7-6850k with the Asus X99-A II MotherBoard. Do you guys have any recommendation on which one I should go with or have any better suggestions for a gaming build

Any suggestions for tech gifts under $30? (US)

Maybe a USB Hub, those can be pretty useful at times. -
So I was planning on getting a new pair of in-ear headphones, and I've been looking around but I still haven't actually decide on what pair I actually want. I was thinking of other the Bose SoundSport in-ear headphones or the Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear Headphones. Does anyone have any idea on which one should get or have any suggestions on similar brands or earphones. Mainly going to use them for working out and casual use. Price Range Around $100-$200 USD

Definitely the NEW Razor Blade, for that portability and power.

I've been wanting to build another computer for a while now and seeing that Nvidia's new flagship card just came out, the GTX 1080, I thought why not now. Ive been looking at the components for the computer and mostly found them all but I just can't decide what motherboard to use. I was thinking of using the gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7, but Im still not to sure, What do you guys suggest or recommend? This system is mainly for gaming. I'll drop the list of the parts I'm going to use down below. Thanks. I've recently gotten a chance to finally build my own computer but I'm not too sure about what to get, I kind of know my way around graphics card which I'm planning on using the GeForce GTX 980 or the Geforce GTX 980 ti. But I'm not too sure about the other parts of the computer, Mainly with the Cpu, Cooling System, Motherboard and the Power Supply. If you guys have any suggestions on what to get that will be great. Thanks My Budget Is around $1500-$1800
