  1. I found Linus Tech Tips (actually it was an NCIX tech tips video) while contemplating my next PC build. I tend to purchase items online and I always like to find objective reviews before I just order something and have it shipped to my house. I've watched several different videos online but I really like the Linus Tech Tips group. The videos are entertaining while being very informative while remaining objective. This combination is pretty hard to find and I appreciate the effort that goes into it. I check back daily and have even ordered things that I wouldn't have thought of before simply due to the recommendation from a video. Keep up the good work, congratulations on the million subscribers, and thank you for the chance at an awesome giveaway!
  2. The original picture shots that I took from my ipad were really fuzzy. I had to switch out the backplate on one of my graphics cards so I decided to go ahead and add new pictures on here. Unfortunately my camera shined a red light in the pics but the detail is a bit better.
  3. It is a cover that comes with the Haf-x case. There are several optional accessories that come with it and this was the only one that I used.
  4. I'm assuming you are asking me why I bought a Haswell cpu if I was willing to spend the money on the 780's. The extreme edition processors are great for editing videos or producing content because the rendering can be spread across six cores but I don't do very much of that. There really isn't a benefit "gaming-wise" to spending the extra money on a 2011 socket cpu. Also I've been waiting to build this rig since February and waiting on Ivy-E would have killed me. :)
  5. Nice looking build. The component selection fits in together very well.
  6. Actually I was very surprised by the results. I can't even hear the videocards run at all. This pc is very silent.
  7. Very nice build. Your build is pretty similar to the one I just finished recently. The Corsair SP120 fans would look good on your radiator since they have a red ring that would go well with your red psu cables.
  8. Yes there are 4 blue led fans mounted in the case. 2 on top, 1 front intake, and 1 side intake. I toyed with the idea of putting in some Bitfenix alchemy strips inside but I thought it may have been too much.
  9. I'm a programmer. I recently upgraded to three monitors for gaming and work and I discovered that this was a bridge too far for my old system which gave me the excuse I needed to build a new system.
  10. I love the blue paint on the case and the side panel is awesome.
  11. I loved the story. That's a great first build. What a difference a case can make.
  12. Nice build! I just used a z87 Sabertooth myself. Its an awesome board. The white Corsair cables look great in there as well.
  13. Thanks. I really love the look of the Sabertooth. Asus started adding the same or similar type of shielding to some of their other boards but they all have a red theme. I was aiming for Black and Blue and this cpu generation doesn't give you many options for that.
