  1. Has the arc gaming livestream with Luke been posted anywhere? I’m not seeing it on floatplane. Edit: found it
  2. 120hz 4k in a laptop? Great, so I can either scale down the resolution or see a fraction of those frames. It's amazing what nonsense they'll try to sell us before giving us a high refresh 1440p option.
  3. I've said this countless times, but I'll just keep saying it for as long as it remains a completely unnecessary ultimatum. Why on earth are we being forced to choose either low resolution or crappy refresh rates? Even 1440p is a massive improvement over 1080 without the performance cost of 4k, yet it's never supported on laptops like this. Instead of having crappy resolution and overkill fps or overkill resolution and crappy fps, why won't a single manufacturer offer something in the middle that would offer a great overall experience without the compromise? It's a shame, because otherwise this seems like a great "does everything" laptop.
  4. Linus: Apple negligently cripples it's MBP to cater to it's audience of non-tech-savvy, status-symbol-obsessed sheeple who can't comprehend that they could be getting slightly more performance in a fatter design Also Linus: yeah, the Strix throttles under load but it still delivers impressive CPU performance given that it isn't a fat laptop This MBP user right now: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
  5. This vid reminded me a lot of my build from last fall. I also went for cramming as much power into a small form factor case as possible. Mine ended up slightly larger (CoolerMaster Elite 130) but I managed to fit in a dual GPU R9 295x2. Full specs and pics are in the link below. Other highlights are the Asus ROG Maximus mobo, dual Samsung 850 pros in RAID-0, and an AX 1500i Titanium PSU. It's an awesome system for the size and it's still running strong. I love these builds and really hope to see more of these from you guys in the future! http://imgur.com/a/7w77f Edit: Clicking the link doesn't seem to work but copying/pasting it does for some reason.
