  1. You misunderstand again. Firstly, setting your region in your phone doesn't change the phones intended market. If I buy a phone in Australia and set it's region to Japan, I can mute the shutter sound. If I buy a phone in Japan and set it's region to Australia, I can't mute the shutter sound. Region sets the language, and preferred time and date servers. Nothing much else. Secondly, you say the carriers can't mess with ios like they can with Android. That's in the US. The laws in China are different. In order to be allowed to sell iPhones in China, Apple had to make some changes to their phones.
  2. Changing your iPhones language to Chinese does not make it a Chinese iPhone For example, Japanese iPhones have a couple differences to them. Firstly, they don't have Apple Pay, they have the Suica chip inside them. Also, even if you have the phone in vibrate mode and all the volumes turned all the way down, the camera shutter sound and the video record start sounds still play at almost full volume. Here's a video on Wechat. Please note that the section of the video that glosses over "being able to see if the the mall is congested" is a little different to the feature snapchat recently rolled out. Firstly, in China, it is not opt-out. Wechat broadcasts your location 24/7. Also, the server that logs your location is accessible by the government. Also your name is associated with your tracking file on the server. The government can see who is where and when at all times as long as they have wechat installed. On top of this, Weibo scans through every post and status update looking for signs of dissent or people speaking out against the Government. These posts don't get deleted, just buried so no one sees them.
  3. I don't think you understand how ios works. On top of that, the things Apple had to do to localise their phones to get China to allow them for sale there is crazy. The government basically has a backdoor to every phone in China. Lookup a video on "wechat in China"
  4. I like how you start two wars at the same time in a single, seven word, response.
  5. Here's a pic of where my hand sits on the mouse for reference: (I am using electrical tape to hold it together for now)
  6. I thumbs upped it due to the reply, not because you were correct. Sorry to let you down, I don't claw grip. My hand sits quite far back on this mouse tbh
  7. Hahaha! Not int he slightest! This broke while I was playing Junkrat in Overwatch on Horizon. 2nd round, attacking and in the lead. On fire even, and then as I'm firing some nades in to the Point B the button separates and I lose the function to click at all hahaha Honestly, the tip of my finger sits back over a centimetre from the tip
  8. Out of all the mice I've ever owned, all the Razers, the Logitechs, the Microsofts, the Logicools. THIS is the most bizarre failure I've ever seen. I can understand the switch breaking, or the laser ending it's life, or a whole host of other things, but never has the PLASTIC failed me on a mouse! I'm not complaining (even though I'm only a week outside of warranty lol) I'm just amused! I've sent through a support message to Razer, hopefully they pity me and help me out. I want to know if you've got any other horror stories or wacky mouse failures you managed to capture in pictures or videos? Chuck em this way!
  9. Looks really great, like, really great. Wouldn't look out of place in home or office. If I had one I'd probably replace my Samsung Smart TV with it, we've got a huge white wall in our lounge which just feels under utilised. I love the connections, means we could still hook up our sub to the side. When I see stuff like this it legit feels like we're living in the future (I mean like, remember how big overhead projectors were?! cmonnnn)
  10. Currently I'm using the Razer Blackwidow Chroma. I got it because I was using a cheap Acer OEM keyboard that I had spare after a friend spilled his cider on my G510. How I got it though was someone had won one in a starcraft tournament and they posted on facebook they weren't a fan of the mechanical keyboard and wanted a Blackwidow Deathstalker. My local computer store had the Deathstalker for $60AUD so I bought one, rode around to this guys house, and then swapped him. Two happy customers! Why do I want this keyboard though? Because then I could pay it forward and give it to my friend who is currently using my crappy Acer OEM keyboard
