    Hi All, my sister is in need of participants to complete a survey as part of her PhD in Psychology. It would be great if you could take the time and complete it. This study is being conducted as part of a PhD project and aims to examine how environmental pressures cause us to develop in a certain way, and whether there is an association between these choices and mental well being. Your participation in this project will involve providing basic demographic information (e.g., age, sex, job status, socioeconomic status, relationship status, and ethnicity) and responding to a number of developmental questions.     @Yames Have you tried to connect to the Mac through its IP? If not try in the search bar in the start menu in the form \\192.168.x.x If that doesn't work I don't have any other ideas as I set this a quite a while ago and it just works.

    On the Mac go into System Preferences and then Sharing . Make sure file sharing is checked and go into the options menu on the right hand side. In the options make sure both SMB and AFP are checked as well as the account you wish to share to the Windows Computer. In the sharing menu you may need to add shared folder of what you want to share between the Mac and PC. This is how my setting are set and I can access my Mac from my Windows 7 PC and my PC from my Mac.

    2 x 120GB SSD in raid 0, I did this as i found that 120GB was too small for all my programs etc and I had bought a new one for my laptop think that it was deep but it was a dead sata cable, so the spare one went into my desktop. 2x 1TB hdd as individual drives in the desktop for storages of some steam games, docs, music etc 1x 2TB external usb 3 for desktop backup 2X1TB external usb hdd for movies/ series install files and any other file that i need to share with someone else. This also allows me to watch movies etc on the TV 1X128 GB SSD in macbook pro, for programs 1x 500GB hdd in which i replaced the CD drive with for mobile storage of documents, music etc. Most of the selection of drives were dictated by price and the need for extra storage.     What would help us help you is some information about what you are going to use the PC for (Gaming, 3d work etc) but for $600 it would be hard to go past a AMD APU system

    Thanks for the reply, but the i hadn't moved the CPU block during this change (only adding angled fittings) I've left it alone for a few days and had some time today so I done a tear down (ram gpu and psu didnt touch the cpu as i have no thermal paste at the moment) put it back together, turned it on and there was life. Initally it only saw one of the HDD but another reboot and they all showed in the BIOS. I have no idea what the problem was but I really don't care as it working and now i can continue with my 3d Cad work

    I just changed my water-cooled loop (put in some angled fittings, no new hardware), put everything back together and it will not post but the fans/pump which i plugged into the CPU spins up. Ive tried: Checked all connectors (8-pin, 24-pin, PCI-e) Different memory and slots a different GPU and the on board graphics rest the bios/cmos once it has power on i can not turn it off by holding the power button Does this sound like a dead motherboard or another issue im not thinking of? Thanks
