Well depens mostly what you expect and what you want (for the 1050 ti) Also think about that the screen is actually pretty bad, this is not bad (i mean you'll probably get used to it but still) In other ways it seems a very good choice (battery, other stuff)

Hmm the performance of that chip in that laptop is lower than http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Celeron-N3050-Notebook-Processor.146637.0.html Which is literally one of least powerful processors you can get on the current market so i would strongly suggest to buy a new laptop, except if you really like to play around with that old computer or can get all those parts for really, really cheap (and want to save the pennies). But it is probably possible to run those programs on it, without too much problems (maybe drivers?) -
I only let windows reinstall the drivers (because I couldnt find them online) and after that I made sure to not shut off the computer with muted sound and that seemed to have worked)

Are your sound drivers called conexant ISST? (If they are I had a similar problem)

Hmm the superfortress was never build for that kind of loads right? Or was it limited by fuel bc they wanted the superfortress to fly a reasonable distance?

That would be totally true, if photoshop does not exist. But in the current timezone, photoshop exists and that GPU-Z screenshot has a fair chance of being photoshopped. The rest of time we should be happy for that price/performance ratio is probably gonna be good on the RX-series. On subject, the possible dual gpu card, however not that practical in a lot of situations, is quite interesting if it is revealed. It would be interesting to see where it lands in performance.

I think its a bit of weird review now, because you compare devices that are a bit on a different level. 5s is a one/one and a half year old high end device en a s5 mini is more like a budget/midrange model from last year. Which wouldn't be that if you noted this. And explained the difference. A lot of disadvantages you sum up are also caused by the specific implantation of android by samsung. (I've got for example android 4.4 and have almost no problems with sd-card storage). At last I would like to say that your review was quite a pleasure to read and provides also a lot of usefull information and eagerly waiting on updates.

A 960m uses the same chip/shaders as a 750 ti, so a 960m will probably perform more like a 750 ti than a 950

It's probably not worth it. 5-10 more fps. And the vram problem is only a thing if you want to crossfire in the future

Sooo silent and still maintain being good (My laptop now doesn't archieve even one of those things :'( )
