  1. No. 1.5v is the max Intel will validate for XMP on DDR4 so even slightly higher is safe.
  2. Enable XMP and raise voltage to 1.4v. Could be crap sticks or weak IMC.
  3. What platform? Yes you need to raise the dram voltage to 1.35v. A little less might work depending on the sticks but just use the XMP voltage.
  4. It appears you have an extra space in your sentence.
  5. 775 uses a northbridge chipset. There are both DDR2 and DDR3 boards on X48 and P45 for example,
  6. Cool. The stipulation was going to be that I bench it sub-zero so that's better for you probably
  7. I'll test it for you if you wan't.
  8. Thank you so much for the help.
  9. I bought a 970 and sent it back for a 980 after RAMgate as many did lol. I wonder if they deducted 970 sales and added to 980 or not.
  10. Not really an issue with all things considered. Do you think Nvidia sells more Titan Xp than 1050?
  11. That gigabyte board is sick. Reminds me of their awesome X58 offerings.
  12. For sure going to follow up. I'm waiting about another month before getting it and a bunch of other stuff I need for rigs. The funny thing is the block was for a X99M-WS and the RAM was the fastest cheap DDR3 I could find when it was needed so a coincidence I have these matching parts.
  13. I have an old 2011 AC Cuplex Kryos black delrin waterblock that's going to set it off as well
  14. Thank you both. It's close enough with the near .5in shorter than the R4E to risk it. Do you think the motherboard tray is thin enough to dent with a jig and mallet? I want a small package( ) and this case would look awesome with the Classified/Klevv Urbane RAM.
  15. I should have said in OP it's a EVGA Z97 Classified so not server spec. That sounds really cool though. Does it have the raised cable management channel? That's what might collide with the edge of the board.
  16. I'm talking desktop EATX not server so the holes are exactly the same, it's just a bit wider PCB.
  17. I've seen on the videos for this case people say EATX won't fit but I didn't see it proven either way. It looks like it would fit but possibly block the cable grommets, which is fine, the board has a 90deg 24-pin so it would be too tight even if the cable fits through probably. How about the rad offset on top? 280+fans clear the board OK?
  18. Ooh yeah if you're finding used or RMA MPOWER boards there snap them up. It's way different in the US.
  19. That's how it is buying old boards. None ever come up for sale in my area and you have to wait for what you want. A Mod here bought some DDR4 off me and I wound up a few weeks later buying the Classy off him.
  20. New on the net you're limited to lower end like MSI Pc Mate and ASROCK Extreme3/4/6 and RMA boards(some are good like the SOC-F). Used is where it's at though. My Z97 Classified fell in my lap for $100 shipped and that's a 4-way SLI/Xfire PLX board. Edit: I want the SOC-FORCE and Impact though. SOC is the best all-around and the Impact is the best for ram OC. The Classified is the best for 3 and 4-way graphics.
  21. @done12many2 might help I think he has that board. I did H-E(weaker imc) with 1st Gen DDR4 and got way higher than that.
  22. Ah yeah B-E does go a little higher. Try your ram on his rig.
  23. You're not going to run 4000 on X99. If you're really good at OC you can do 3466. You have to use a 125 bclk and raise the volt.
  24. Pentium 4 The best you could hope for at $4 is a C2D E8400, the highest IPC on 775. Pentium 4 or D are not so good. E7400 would be OK.
