  1. Check your manual, enabling some features will disable the M.2 port on most motherboards. EDIT: Make sure your have M2/U2 Switch on auto or U.2 Also check your NVME settings:
  2. your current build looks pretty good, like I said i recommend a higher PSU, like 1000 to 1200 Watt, check the efficiency curve and calculate what will be more efficient because after all to make a profit your costs's need to be as low as possible. You can use unpowered risers but I would recommend against that, because every card is going to pull 75 watt from the motherboard and that will kill it over time.
  3. Bitcoint mining is not worth it. There are a lot of new cryptocurrencys appearing that can only be GPU mined.
  4. Yes, more then enough bandwith, you will need to use Powered RISERS though! Bandwidth is 9/10 not the issue it's power. I'm using the following risers: https://mineshop.eu/cables/pci-e-1x-to-16x-powered-usb-riser-ethereum-mining-detail (Not in any way affiliated with them, they are just the closest shop for me with these risers) Maybe a stronger power supply, because you do not want to run it at 90%+ of its capacity 24/7 Altcoint mining is a volatile market, don't invest into it if you cant miss the cash.
  5. Correct, so how would I test if it's a board issue or a CPU issue?
  6. @don_svetlio I'm unable to boot into windows, so I cant really run DDU. Also I took out my GPU from the PCIE slot.
  7. Hello, While gaming my pc froze, after that I have been unable to boot from my ssd, or from a windows install usb. Both of them will start booting but after 3/5 sec it will BSOD to Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area or Critical_Process_Died. This even happens with everything disconnected, Graphics Card, All USB devices, and when booting from the usb with the ssd disconnected. I have ran memtest86 which after 8 hours and 20 mins, said it passed all the test with 0 errors. So right now I'm clueless as to what the issue is, seeing as the Ram functioned fine for about 4 months, and I think its highly unlikely both sticks died and get 0 errors on a memtest86. My build: Asus Maximus VIII Formula i7 6700k 16GB of Corsair Dominator 3000mhz. (2x8) AMD Fury X So Im clueless what to do now, does anyone have any suggestions?

  9. Hello, A buddy of me is having some strange RAM issues on his computer, after looking into it I myself cannot find any causes for it. Sometimes his windows 10 install uses up 99% of his RAM, causing for a laggy and slow experience. It's a really intermittent issue and isn't affected by up-time. Sometimes after a fresh reboot it instantly used up all his RAM(No programs started, only auto start programs), and sometimes even after 12+ hours of up-time there is nothing wrong with it. After looking into task manager we could nowhere account for all the used RAM, even after opening "broncontrollen"(See Image) and calculating the rough estimate of how much is used it only reached about 6gb looking at the assign RAM. Does anyone have any clue what is using up all the avaible RAM? And where I can find how mutch is being used?
  10. I'm not a big fan of Biostar, also I'm not going to paint a motherboard.
  11. Hello, I'm working on a new pc, I already had all the parts, but when I put the motherboard in my case(H440 Special Editionhttps://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/152-h440-special-edition-mid-tower.html) I didn't like the red motherboard so I send it back. My budget for the motherboard is max 300€. The problem is I haven't been abel to find a green & black motherboard or a black motherboard that is LGA1151 and is in one of those color combinations. So can someone suggest me a motherboard that has those colors and is LGA1151 or something that would also look good.
