  1. Specs: i7-4790k @ 4.70Ghz GTX 970 16gb Corsair vengeance ram score: 6.6 (high)
  2. I used windows storage pools to format the drives, everything seems to work fine now
  3. Yes, I did try rescanning the disks. I tried the other thing you suggested and still only says that i have "disk 0"
  4. Recently I bought a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and a WD blue HDD for some extra storage. The new drives will show up in BIOS but when I look in "Disk Management" to format the drives, only the partitions on my old HDD show up. Any help very much appreciated
  5. What are you using the system for, 16Gb will usually be sufficient for gaming.
  6. I forgot to add in the OP that for a few months my CPU had been running VERY hot because i had improperly seated my CPU cooler, i hadn't checked what temps were because i didn't have the CPU overclocked at all so i didn't care to check. I later found out that my idle temps were sitting around 55 degrees Celsius! Load temps got up to 95 Degrees. I assume this means that there is higher chance that i have a problem with my CPU?

  8. I would definitely recommend the logitech G430 gaming headset as i have much experience using it and can vogue for it's amazing surround sound experience and overall good audio quality. -Pros Great surround sound Good audio quality Substantial microphone Extremely comfortable (This could vary as your head might have a significantly different shape than mine) Washable ear cups (Very useful if the area around your ears gets sweaty after a long while of gaming) USB or 3.5mm analog jacks Good customer support from logitech Great price Gold plated internal connectors Can swivel to rest comfortably on shoulders Durable braided cable Available in Australia -Cons Construction can feel "cheap" at times (With my experience i haven't found this to be an issue) Only one color choice available Drivers do not work correctly with linux Alternatively you could get the more expensive version although it will exceed your $100 price cap, but it has all of these features and a little bit more.
  9. Is it a legit copy of windows?
  10. I eventually found the jumper, turns out it was a little piece of plastic that i previously thought was the base of where the pins are but is actually removable in order to clear the CMOS
  11. What do i connect to "jbat 1" in order to reset the cmos?
  12. Thank you, fortunately i have a couple friends with with good parts that i can borrow
  13. i tried all possible combinations of ram in each slot and im still having the same problem
  14. The cable is black the yellow is a tag saying that you cant dispose of it in a regular trash bin because it has potentially harmful materials in it
