  1. I can tell you a story as to why I need this, but i dont want to waste your time. Best TG Case under $100, I love the way they look and I am cheap (Ik the evolv is the best but currently that is out of my budget) Top choices ATM: -S340 Elite -P400 TG
  2. Yeah im not really that anal unless if its like dota where it actually matters
  3. Its good to know that 60Hz isnt horrible from 144hz, I was just testing it on my 1080p one, I could get used to it I think.... For the mounting solution how is this: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V002/dp/B009S750LA/ ????? Yeah I agree the scaling is pretty good, just some apps are cancerous, but I dont use those anyways
  4. Yeah but DisplayPorts support 1080p at 144Hz, which is what I currently have
  5. true true true, if I do proceed with the monitor, any mounting solutions????
  6. but the image quality tho, I watch all my media at 60hz anyways... I dont think there is 1080p 144 hz media anywhere lol
  7. I am highly considering getting this monitor (lemme know if I made a good sub $500 choice): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C3BZIIC/ref=crt_ewc_title_srh_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1RPQ7V42WAEJD It is 4K, IPS, and it is running at 60 Hz (Ill probably overclock to 75hz)... Currently I have 2 1080p 24" displays, one of which is 144hz (Vesa Compatible, ASUS ROG something) and the other is 60hz, I want to replace the 60hz one for the 4k one and then chose what games I play on which monitor. If I am playing a story driven game then Ill play on the 4k but if I am playing a competitive multiplayer game like Dota 2 ill use the 1080p 144hz. I have a GTX 1070 BTW (I may upgrade if I need the power). For Media Consumption I will use the 4k monitor. Now the problem I am encountering right now is that I have the 144hz directly in front of me and the 60h monitor is to the right, slightly angled. I have a corner desk and I love it. When I have the 4k monitor I want to Vesa Mount both of them, I want a mounting solution that I can use which allows both monitors to be centered rather than one monitor stealing the show, I wanna have the capability to choose to make the monitors 100% flat rather than angled as I am going to move this set up shortly. Any suggestions?
  8. Ok in that case I think that you made the right choice... So As of right now ur getting the 1070 and the samsung.. nice.. test it, and see how it is If you want MOAR then get the 1080.. Simple
  9. Lmao no, I mean if you are OK with the spending then just do it... but you could save 1k if you go with the 1070+samsung
  10. Honestly right off the bat, just get the Samsung... they are usually good (like 9/10) ur gnna save like 600 bucks which you can get idk something else.
  11. Wait some more time and get 6700k, mobo and RAM wombo combo
